Powertrain light came on and threw code p1450 and car went into limp mode. Car will stall at stops and lights and won't go over 40. Replaced the canister purge valve which turned light off but it immediately came back once trying to over 40 and went back into limp mode. Everything I have read and ai has said based on diagnostic information says it's the electronic throttle body which has a recall for this model and year of car but not this vin for some reason.

My car was stopped at a stoplight with a vehicle in front of me. I shifted into neutral as I needed to take my foot off the brake. The car was on level ground so it would not roll forward or backward. I put my foot on the brake and shifted back into drive. The car accelerated without warning. I jammed on the brakes, but the engine was racing and I couldn't stop my car from hitting the vehicle in front of me. I happened to glance at the tachometer during the incident and saw the needle dropping below 4,000 RPM. The engine returned to normal rpms after the collision. No one was injured and the damage to both vehicles was minor. Both vehicles were able to leave the scene under their own power.
6/14/12 car was low on fuel, but not on empty and message indicated 32 miles to e. Driving up hill car lost power, did not die, moved very slowly. Able to get off street into parking lot of restaurant. Car seemed to regain power, so tried to pull back on street going down hill, but at edge of lot, I realized the brakes were not responding. I managed to avoid car coming and was able get back into the parking lot as pulling into parking spot now slight surge of speed but still no brakes and hit restaurant's sign. Took car to dealer, could not duplicate problem and blamed it all on low fuel. On 6/20 this time with tank almost full. Had same problem, car suddenly had no power, but did not die. I pulled over and turned it off and waited several minutes. When restarted went about four miles and happened again. …
On August 1st, 2015, I was on my way home at about 10 pm at night. I was going up a hill that curved to the left and suddenly lost control of my steering wheel. Instead of turning left the car proceeded to go straight where I then began to panic. I then slammed my brake to the floor and it somehow unexpectedly sped up. I crashed into a power line and smashed the front end into a tree that had totaled my vehicle. I have seat belt burns on my neck, stitches on my knee, abrasions, suffered from a minor concussion, a large amount of bruises, small cuts on my hands and forehead. I have full medical documents of my injuries including pictures. I later found out there were 2 recalls on the vehicle a power steering and 1 full throttle body recall. …
After many failed temps from Ford for my body throttle issues & fords dealer refusal to replace the throttle body, bc the code isn't present when they hook up they're device to it(Ford rules). Even though is known with Ford they code will clear when the car is turned off or in my case sometimes shut off by itself when the wrench light appears.06/02/15ford dealer did a PCM update for the t.body & was good to go. Less than a month later issues started again. It has happened countless of times with my bf & w.my kids in the car. I called davidson Ford & spoke to the manger where he stated not to shut the car off so the code doesnt clear & I asked if the tow guy would leave the car on to bring it here. He goes well no! They weren't of help ever.on 03/07/16 heading home my car went in limp mode & steering went stiff. …
While driving at 60 miles per hour my vehicle decelerate in rush hour traffic, miles away from home. I was able to put my emergency flashers on and move over to the shoulder before my car completely lost power. I had a tool light come on the dash and the car was still on but no power. I turn the engine completely off for about t 1 minute and then restart my car. I was able to safely make it home. On my grandchildren first day of school, while picking up at 1 of 3 schools on the way to the second school my car decelerated just before a train track during rush hour once again. This time my engine light came on the dash. Following the same technique I restarted my car, made it across the track only for it to quit again. My grand baby was worried and needless to say so was I.. Using the same technique we were able to make it safely home. …
In the last 24 hours my vehicle stalled on the freeway (I was almost rear-ended--this highway has a curb on both sides instead of shoulders) 4 times in 5 miles. The first time was as I was turning onto the highway from an intersection. Each time, I was unable to accelerate the car with the gas pedal. Each time, this was preceded by a lurching forward and a sluggish performance of the engine for about 1 second before the engine no longer powers the wheels. The wrench light comes on and I have to turn the car off and then turn it back on in order to be able to accelerate again. As I said, when I would accelerate, the engine would die, and this happened four times. When I restart the car, but before it dies again, the check engine light comes on. This is an issue with other 2011 Ford fusions that the NHTSA has already investigated--the throttle body is defective. …
