What owners report

Three of four original Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT tires (DOT 0222) on my 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 have experienced catastrophic tread separations under normal use with 28,095 miles. The first two failed under warranty and were replaced at my expense; the third failed at highway speed, causing vehicle damage and a $1,000 insurance deductible plus additional cost to replace the tire. The dealership advised GM sent the failed tires for analysis, but GM denies receiving or reviewing them. Multiple NHTSA complaints describe identical failures on this same tire model (e.g., #11522434, #11482843, #11457647). This pattern indicates a potential widespread safety defect.

These tires are good year wrangler trail runner at size lt275/65 r20. My total mileage on these tires was 40970These were the original tires that were installed when the truck was purchased new. My tires are rotated every 5000 miles. Tire pressure is maintained at the exact pressure. I was driving on an interstate at 70 mph. A vibration started. I checked the tire pressure monitors and all showed normal pressures - I stopped and observed the tires were no longer round but had bulges to one side of the tread surface Both are likely to blowout and have to be replaced Two did this same thing in last 2 weeks

Numerous times since first taking possession of new vehicle trucks electronic emergency braking system has activated while driving all on its own without warning. several times while on slower side roads and several times while at Interstate speeds, twice coming very close to a head on collision and once coming close to being rear ended while towing a car on a trailer by a semitrailer. The last time there was a message on the drivers information center that stated "service parking brake" The truck has been out of service use to several dealers to diagnose the problem to no avail. I've explained to the dealers its like having a blown tire, you can't predict when it will happen. Its a very dangerous situation. Second the goodyear wrangler tires tend to slide on curves in wet weather. This happens whenever the road is wet and you are on a curve. …

LT275/65R20 Wrangler Trailrunner After my second tire having a bubble, I was riding and felt a wobble so I took it to a car care in el campo, instead of getting the tires rotated and balanced. I had yet ANOTHER TIRE with a bubble. Tried to order another tire but come to find out that Good year discontinued this style of tire. I know they did it because of how bad a tire they have. So I had to order a full set of four new tires. So now I have one tire with less than 8000 miles and another with less than 500 miles and I had to pay for four new tires. I think Goodyear should pay for their mistake not write it off and make another tire without any recourse.

Description of Safety Defect: I purchased this 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD from Carvana. Within 14 days of vehicle delivery, an authorized, in-network warranty repair facility (Monro) diagnosed a critical safety defect in the steering linkage, identifying failed outer tie rod ends and a failed pitman arm. Carvana's warranty administrator, SilverRock (Claim C102648992), acknowledged the structural steering failure by approving the pitman arm and idler arm replacement but explicitly denied the required tie rod ends, claiming "no failure." The vehicle has since been released back to me with the failed tie rod ends still installed. On this heavy-duty truck, the steering linkage has now deteriorated to a catastrophic failure point. With the truck parked on the ground, there is severe, excessive manual play allowing the front wheel to be physically shaken left-to-right by hand. …

While driving my vehicle I began to notice a severe shake. Upon pulling over I found the driver rear tire tread had separated and bulged to were the inner part of tread bulged about 12 inches long and approximately 2-3 inches higher than the rest of the tread. It happened a second time to the passenger rear tire in the same manner a little over 1000 miles later. Approximately 21,000 miles. Both times the vehicle shook violently. Each instance I had to purchase a new tire out of my pocket. Lt 265/60r20
