I was on my way to work and I stoped along the side of the road to help with a car accident. After helping the person and the ambulance arrived I went back to my truck. when I got in it everything was on but I noticed that it was quite and that's when I realized the truck was not running anymore. I tried to turn it on and off but nothing happened besides all the dash stuff came on. It had been making a ticking noise but it would go away after a certain speed. After the engine would not turn on I had a friend that is a certified Chevy mechanic take a look and he told me the engine seized. It took 2-3x the torque to crank it over and when he was able to do that he found lots of metal shavings in the oil. I been out of a vehicle for almost 2 years now because of this issue.
The pickup shifts violently in and out of overdrive and than into second and than overdrive all while driving down the road at 55 mph and the rear end locks the tires up some times and the whole truck vibrates really and this power Tran problem is getting worse everyone I drive it and it's not safe to have any passengers or my kids in it anymore and it feels like the transmission is going to disintegrate at any moment because and if it does the transmission is going to lock up and than its going to cause a car accident ..PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM BEFORE THIS TRUCK CAUSES A ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM ..IM JUST THINKING ABOUT MY KIDS SAFETY AND OTHER FAMILIES SAFETY ON THE ROAD ...FROM A CONCERN PARENT ..
When backing the sensors fail to notify the driver/operator of forcibly engaging impending objects such as a small child or object by an audible noise alert that increases in loudness as the vehicle gets closer to the child/ person or object. I purchased the Pickup truck in 2020 with 17,000 miles and currently have 28,000 miles. the audible alarm cease to function well over a year ago, as I just became aware of your reporting site. Such safety items as cameras and alarms are not vehicle options. There sole purpose is to save lives!!
