This truck had a steering failure causing a collision and it was a minor front collision. The worse part is Chevrolet denies a problem but the internet is full of complaints. During the collision on the front strangely the curtain airbags is all that deployed leaving driver completely unprotected!!! The steering came back on after. Then I get a notice that the airbag control module is recalled because it May not work or deploy bags wrongfully. That's what happened. The truck has 24000 miles on it and the steering failed in the rain making me swing out almost striking a school bus full of small children. I had it towed to a Chevy dealer after having and photographing with a time stamp 6 codes for a module failure. The Chevy dealer calls and lies to me and did there are no codes or voltage to the motor and it May be a wire from the accident I told them about. …

While slowing down to make a turn, usually always using turn signal, my truck will completely shut down in the middle of the intersection with no warning. The engine shuts down and all electrical is lost. Luckily I haven't been hit by another vehicle while trying to restart my truck in the middle of the intersection. After I get truck started there are numerous error codes in the display: open and close drivers side window, stabilatrak, steering wheel assist, stabilatrak reduce speed b/c of steering assist, 2 keys programmed. Also while traveling at high rate of speed (70-80 MPH) on highway the stabilatrak error would appear when I put turn signal on to change lanes but truck has not yet shut down under that condition. I have taken my truck to 2 different Chevrolet dealers for this dangerous problem but they have not been able to find the problem. …
My trucks traction control will come on when getting on or off onramps, turns in the mountains, around town, everywhere. It is very scary, the truck will show the traction control light and begin to lose power and become hard to steer. I went off the freeway yesterday with my whole family in the truck,. I was on the freeway taking a ramp to another freeway and the light came on, the truck lost power, the steering became hard to turn and I could not make the freeway exchange and went off the highway. I have taken it to Chevrolet 2 times and they said that they were either unable to recreate the situation, or that they don't know what the problem is. My next door neighbor has the very same truck, year, make and model with the same issue. This truck is a deathtrap. This has been going on for 2 years with no resolution. …
My 2014 Chevy Silverado, it's elecktronicks debility control system comes on inadvertently, causing my vehicle to lose control. My track she control light comes on, steering becomes difficult, breaks stop working, I have gone off the side of the highway twice in the past 3 weeks. I have taken my vehicle to chevron way at least 5 times for this issue with no resolution. Now my vehicle as a 101000 miles and they will not look at it again with out money. This is the most dangerous vehicle I have ever driven, and general motors will not help me at all. Chevrolet will not honor this is you and would rather me crash my vehicle, then help me resolve it. Stay away from general motors they are not putting out good products at this time period
Truck flashed service stbilitrak and then shut off while driving and shot right and made me go up and over a curb at 35 MPH. Scanner says voltage lost in BCM and now it says to service the trailer brake system with no trailer hooked up.
At 55,000 mi, the truck started having electrical issues, causing near accidents. Numerous warning messages on the dash, such as service stabilitrac, then it jerks the steering wheel out of your hand and dies while in motion.
