The stereo system in this car controls alot of the electrical system. For a while it would come on and off now just off. It will not alert you if you forget to fasten seat belt, or if you forget keys in ignition . Defrost has warm air on one side cold on other no matter what settings are on . This causes windshield to fog up horribly and limits vision. It does not make sound when blinkers are on are left on after turning. So you can be driving forward and not know blinker is on giving other drivers the impression you are turning. I've seen videos where drivers are removing stereo and cutting white wire which says stereo comes back on when wire is cut. But it also disables Hazzard lights. Now your in the dark changing a flat and you have no Hazzard lights , but your stereo works very dangerous. This has got to be some sort of wiring issue which also make me fear a potential fire Hazzard
Takata recall, my Camaro has been making a lot of noises on the left front of the pumper, I called the dealer I bought my car from, and they want me to pay $125 an hr for inspection which they had told me everything would be free as long as I keep taking my car with them which everything was a lie I was supposed to get my oil changes for free, never happened after 2 nd time taking my car I had to pay, so I called for an oil change appointment and also mentioned to them that my seat belt was not working, that I had to get it fixed asap because I could not drive it like that it can be very dangerous, so I got my appointment set up, next thing I show up on my scheduled date, andy they told me I can't get my seat belt fixed without paying, well??? Isn't there a warranty that covers 6 years on whatever happens to the vehicle? …
The seatbelt rubs my neck no matter how adjust the seat. In 2015 I was in car accident and had a severe neck injury. I had Thoracic Outlet surgery. Recently on 8-24-23 I was in a fender bender . I injured my neck again, a disk bulge is pressing against my spinal cord. Both accidents the seatbelt pressed against my neck. I was wondering if it was a factory defect.
The audio sounds are not working including no blinker sounds. No radio sound. No radio working in and out and screeching sound while driving distracting driver , no seat belt sound warning , no key left in ignition sound warning , all safety issues and there are thousands and thousands of complaints about the same thing and you guys keep ignoring it. You need to do a recall ! Someone is going to get killed if it hasn't already happened. ! Especially the seat belt warning and radio scaring people going on and off. !
Takata recall, I was driving down my city street when all of a sudden I believe it was a pot hole or just uneven gravel leading my knee hit the key in the ignition and in that second I had no control or control of what happened next. I could not brake, my seat belt locked on me hurting my collar bone, then my wheel was so hard to turn I was using both hands aggressively to turn as hard as I can just so I wouldn't hit a building or cause damage to others and as I was sterling I would keep pressing the brakes and they were just locked. I had to hit a barrier of wood to stop my car. The airbags did not deploy as well which was very scary. I had no control of my car for the first time and it was not my fault, this has never happened and I know it's because of the key being bumped. My recall # 14V346000 accidental bumping of key ignition. I had no idea this car had a recall. …
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to chime when both front seat belts were not fastened. Also, the turn signal chime and defroster were not operable. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.
When someone sits in the passenger seat the airbag light/alarm goes on and off. My mechanic said I would need to take it to the dealer. I called dealer and they would need to diagnose if it is the seat belt or the seat weight sensor. Can cost upwards of $900. I just can't afford that. They should recall since I've researched so many complaints on this issue.
