What owners report
windshield leaking water inside of drivers compartment, headliner & side pillars (causing stained areas) as well as the top of onstar and electrical buttons on the overhead console . Found wet cup holder. Vehicle does not have a sun roof. GM is aware of this issue from the factory GM plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. This defect is because of lack of not being sealed properly during the assembly process. The windshield has a factory OEM rubber seal attached to a NEW windshield. This rubber seal is NOT a part that can be purchased separately to fix the problem. By replacing the entire windshield with the new factory rubber seal and the channel that the entire windshield fits into is resealed with urethane should fix the issue.. Trying to reuse the current windshield & rubber seal and using sealer to reinstall it stretches out the rubber seal & will still leak. …
I was driving on a rainy day, and noticed my windshield wipers were not working. I tried adjusting wiper speed and even the spray function, which sprayed but did not wipe. At this point I had driven over a mile and had to pull over because visibility through the windshield had gotten so bad. I restarted the car and the wipers functioned normally again. There were no warning lights of any kind or software notifications, and the wipers had worked previously that day.
I own a Chevrolet trailblazer 2003, and I ran into a recall problem with my windshield wipers. Www.NHTSA.dot.gov has provided information for GM's recall on all vehicles with a defect. NHTSA campaign number: 04V046000 recall date: February 2, 2004 potential number of units affected: 581,394 I called my local Chevrolet dealer, courtesy Chevrolet in santa clara, california in order to get my car fixed since the problem is a defect on GM's part. I researched the problem and my car falls in the recall category, the staff at courtesy Chevrolet did not fix my car on their expense because they said that my VIN number was not in their system as one of the cars with a defect/recall: recall: a manufacturer's recall is a situation in which most vehicles produced in a production or tooling run has a severe enough flaw in a component or group of components in that continued operation of the vehicle …
Electric sun roof improperly installed at the factory, water poured in leaving an inch of water on my floor boards and cargo area. Also, went into speakers and headliner soaked and dripping. Dealer rerouted drain tubes, more leaks occured and dealer claims cannot find leak and sent vehicle back to me. Within 12 hours of receiving vehicle, wouldn't start--dealer replaced ignition switch. Heater blower intermittently stops, dealer cannot duplicate problem-no fix.
While driving in a rain storm, the windshield wiper stopped working, causing poor visibility for the driver. This resulted in an accident. This also happened once prior to this accident. The dealership is unable to fix problem. Please provide more details.ts
Intermittent wipers stop working. Sometimes they like ad, meaning: one wipe, pause, 2 wipes, pause, 3 wipes, pause, 4 wipes, pause, the back to 2 wipes and counts back up. My theory is maybe a capacitor(s) have gone bad?
1) ABS and e-brake light continually come on; unsure if ABS system is functional; I have had the computer tested and it returned no faults 2) side windows work intermittently; no explanation; windows will not roll down for days at a time and then they work fine for days at a time 3) sunroof no longer functional; Chevy dealer said the "heat" warped the internal parts and they broke as I rolled it back; weather was mild and the breakage happened at 0500 in the am; I don't believe it was heat related 4) rear of vehicle is has drastically fallen below the front; I have no explanation as to why; it looks as if the vehicle front suspension was raised and the rear was lowered; drives fine, but feels unsafe all of the above happened shortly after the warranty expired, between 40000-50000 miles.
The handle that allows you to recline the seat broke off flushed with the seat, this happened to both the driver and passenger seats in June 2005. The hood will not pop up when the lever was pulled until one banged on the grill or the hood in certain spots, which just started in March of 2007. The gas mileage dropped from 20 mpg to 16 mpg within 6 months. The back glass stuck and was hard to open, started in 2006. When turning on the air conditioner (A/C ) the car had no power, I have to turn it off when accelerating on the interstate or on hills. If the cruise control was set it kicked off when the A/C was on. When I needed to stop quickly the brakes failed, and felt a grinding sensation through the pedal, but the mechanic changed the brakes and checked the rotors, but hasn't found any problem. Suspected a defect somewhere in the brake system\ as of 2005. …
