The van would seem in perfect running order, but after parking and returning to vehicle, it would not start. After several times, the vehicle wouldn't start at all. When we took off the fuel pump, which is located inside the gas tank, the wires had shorted out and were burned. This seems dangerous and I feel it could have started a fire or caused an explosion. I checked other complaints and I am not the only one this has happened to. Please make the manufacturer check this part and make sure it is safe and that this will not result in a fire for someone else!!

When coming to a complete stop vehicle lurched forward about five feet. Also, vehicle stalled intermittently, and had a rough idle. Vehicle was taken to the dealer four times and mechanic replaced the lower intake gasket/ EGR valve twice, and fuel injectors. None of these repairs resolved the problem.

Fuel injector plugs up and fails. It runs very rough. Nothing can prevent problem per dealer service techs. I was told it was due to poor design. It has occurred twice now. The first covered under warranty. The second was not and chev corp refused to cover second replacement. Loop hole in warranty. This problem occurs about every 40,000 to 45,000 miles. I was told the service department is starting to see alot of this lately. Windshield wipers- they were working intermittently. The first time they went out it was on the freeway in a heavy storm. The dealer could not find a problem. It did not fail in their shop. It took two shops before they found the problem. It was some typr of loose electrical wiring. Not covered by dealer due to me being over mileage.

The speed ometer works intermittenly and the windshield wipers also work intermittenly. Sometimes the car stalls, or will not start and when taken to a dealer they came nothing is wrong. It also will sometimes run rough and will have a service engine soon light come on. I did receive a letter from Chevrolet regarding some of these problems, but I was told my car did not qualify for a recall repair because there was nothing wrong.

Fuel pump/sending unit assy. Shorted out inside of fuel tank leaving black arcing traces on component- if tank were not commpletely full this would most likely caused an explosion resulting in grievous injury or death! Local dealer notified,to see if any recall or service bullitins were published and recieved a very unfreindly reception and absolutly no help.
