Has needed to be replaced.which is what the recall was for .so I was driving In the fast lane on the freeway when out of nowhere my car just stalled putting me and my passenger in risk of being rammed from behind .I've had to take it too a mechanic two or three times so they can fix the same thing . I have the invoice from the repairs . Also I can be driving and the emergency brake will just engage by itself not having been touched by anyone or anything. It puts me and my passenger at risk for whiplash due to the fact that it engages when I'm driving .no warning lite come on I've just felt the jolt almost causing me to hit my head on the windshield. Takata recall. On a daily basis my car loses all electrical power and shuts completely off while driving on a city street, highway and has even happened while turning. It's a tremendous safety concern, as I have to stop in the middle of the road, put the car in park and try restarting. This has caused several car pile ups behind me. Vw stated they are unable to pay to have this recall fixed and stated that I would be responsible for replacing the fuel pump and fuel module. I am not able to cover these expenses. This should be the responsibility of vw corporate to cover and fix this recall.

Gas pedal was rendering non-functional and in-effective. There was heavy soot/smoke from the exhaust primarily almost like fire and some smoke from under the hood, this is a new under warranty vw CC 2012 4 door sedan. Driving on the left lane with a semi behind me when this occurred. It created a very unsafe near miss incident. I am fortunate that a collision did not happen when I lost power to the wheels. I pulled off to an exit and when I floored the gas pedal, there was intermittent power stalling the vehicle to less than 5 MPH. …
