I was parked then backed up to proceed forward. There was a pole with a cemented base in the corner left as I accelerated I ran in to this pole. Peripherally I don't know how I missed the pole however I do take accountability for that. What concerns me is my front collision system and forward emergency braking system failed and did not activate or message me in any way. In the past if I've come too close to a vehicle or object in front of me my vehicle lets me know messaging me on my screen, side mirrors and my vehicle has even braked itself. I have become reliant on this system and I no longer feel secure or safe knowing this system intermittently works.
