Jeep Renegade Issues: First NO WARNINGS Signs of Any Kind were shown at time of both issues, 1st under hard acceleration or deceleration and sometimes while in turns under acceleration & deceleration you get a Large Bang from underneath the vehicle and it's not only the sound but feels like the vehicle gets hit but it's not. 2nd thing that has happened 3 times 2 times on regular roads and once entering the highway while at the top of the Rte-15 South Ramp after driving the vehicle at about 60mph-65mph the vehicle shuts down like when stopped at a light but your now entering a highway. When I told my dealership they couldn't find either issue so I asked while I was here in Florida and I was told Chrysler Corporation know of this 2nd Issue but isn't doing a Recall on this issue and I was told it's happening to quite a few models not just the Jeep Renegade but others. …

Picked up Jeep in Kansas City. Got on highway and transmission (trans) would not shift into high gears. Called dealership and was told to contact local dealer. Got back to Texas (560 mi.) and contacted 4 dealers in the DFW area. All said there were issues with 9 sp. trans. One said put 2500 mi. on and see if it is a computer break in issue. Took to local dealer with 3300 mi and they did a Star Case. Subsequently, I also went with Manager and confirmed issue. Was contacted by Ralph at Jeep (CASE #82736087). Was told car was submitted for buyback. Two days later, buyback was off the table, and I was stuck with it. Jeep said that no problem found per dealership. Called dealership and was told flat out that was not the case. They drove one off the lot and it did just fine (2022 model). Meanwhile, I posted on a Renegade forum and other people are having same issue. …

The vehicle was involved in a crash and no airbags deployed. The front right (passenger) side quarter panel, windshield bumper, headlight, marker light, and turn signal will all need replaced. With no safety restraint system, had the accident taken place at higher speeds, my passenger and myself could have been seriously injured or worse. The transmission, at 54,000, has began to overheat and slip while shifting. The cooling fans only work with the air conditioner on causing the vehicle to overheat. This vehicle has a 194 thermostat and the temperature gauge reads 227 but the actual gauge shows the temperature still in the middle, where it always is. I have replaced the coolant bottle due to it separating at the seam causing a coolant leak. …

2019 Renegade · Feb 2022 · crash

am writing to formally report multiple serious issues with my 2019 Jeep Renegade (VIN: [redacted] ). I take good care of my vehicle, but it has been experiencing rough shifts, lurching and jerking during acceleration, loud noises from the engine or transmission, hesitation, unexpected power loss, and it frequently displays a warning that the license plate light is off. Recently, the car overheated and required a water pump replacement, and since then it emits a burning hose smell. Additionally, the driver's seat does not lock properly, and the radio often turns off and on by itself. These ongoing problems not only compromise the safety, reliability, and proper functioning of my vehicle but also create a significant financial burden. I am requesting an immediate inspection and resolution, and I would appreciate guidance on the next steps or the earliest available appointment for service. …
