While driving my 2020 Jeep Renegade it will just shut itself down with no warning. I was on the freeway going 60 mph when the car just shut off causing me to have to pull over on the side of the freeway (which is illegal) and then having to restart the car - this happened 6 times in a matter of 24 hours causing me to have to bring my Jeep to the dealership. I was told that there are more electrical issues that will nee dot be addressed but that the main reason for the shut off weas due to not enough oil in the car even though I just had an oil change and was not due for some time. Why would the car just shut off with no warnings? At least a low oil level light would be better than just shutting down.
Went to pass someone car wouldn't shift or pick up in speed several times, on interstate as well as on highways. Expressed concern to dealer, didn't perform testing, cleared codes. Getting gas, vehicle didn't recognize shut off gas spilled everywhere all over the vehicle and the parking lot Today shut off 4x while driving. 2 times jeep threw vehicle into park via the emergency break while driving. 2 times jeep just shut down and stopped. Had trouble starting aging after just shutting off. Vehicle being towed to another dealer today

The uconnect screen has gone completely black. The uconnect screen in this vehicle controls every feature on the vehicle. It controls my speedometer. This feature is now stuck in Canadian reading so I can't tell how fast I am driving. This controls my millage. Again it is in Canadian milage, I don't know how many miles I have on my vehicle. This feature controls my back up camera. This controls every feature in my vehicle. I have no control over anything now.

I am writing to report a severe safety defect regarding my 2018 Jeep Renegade. The vehicle suffers from an extreme internal oil consumption defect, burning 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles. According to certified automotive diagnostics, this is five times the normal operating rate. This rapid oil depletion causes the vehicle to abruptly lose power, stall, and completely shut down while driving in active traffic without warning. Sudden engine failure at highway speeds creates an immediate, critical risk of collisions. The vehicle's history directly matches documented manufacturer issues. The original purchasing dealership notified me that the vehicle was impacted by Customer Satisfaction Notification W80 for abnormal oil consumption. My research also confirmed related under-hood wiring recalls for this model year that cause fuel pressure drops and engine stalling. …
The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated on several occasions while driving at various speeds with the accelerator pedal depressed, the vehicle would not accelerate properly. The vehicle was veered to the side of the road and restarted after waiting a few minutes each time. On several occasions while driving at various speeds the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to restart after waiting for a few minutes. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
It began with vehicle warning lights, several, illuminating. They did not illuminate at exactly the same time (such as when a car stalls) they illuminated consecutively i.e Airbag disabled, followed by, blind spot sensors unavailable, front collision, lane departure, power steering temporarily unavailable, park assist, lane departure... all unavailable. Finally, the check engine light. Driving 65 mph until the transmission decided to no longer shift properly, which resulted in driving 45 in an 70 mph zone. Turned off vehicle and restarted, it was fine for 50 miles and began the dashboard light show again, followed by almost stalling at a toll booth. It has been "repaired" 3 times in 3 months, by Chrysler Jeep . Including a new BCM. I believe this 2017 Renegade either was not recalled during the original recall in 2017 or 2018, was not repaired, or was repaired improperly. …
