When I purchased the car no warning lights or problems were wrong with it it drove fine. The same day I got it home which is an hour away, the check engine light came on so i called them back. I took car back to shop and told them the code said it was the converter they said that was not right and it was just bad gas put in it so they reset engine light. As soon as i got back home the engine light came back on and then all the power locks on the doors stopped working. I took it to meinieke in greenville in which they said my converter went bad and that is why the engine light was on. Then they said it must have been in water because it was severe rust underneath the hood. and it effected electrical system. However, none of this information was on the car fax report. no flood damage, no repairs etc. Also none of this was occurring

Transmission failed at 101000 miles. Going 70 miles a hour on interstate.it slowed down to15 miles a hour, for the love of something no one hit me, but it could of been a deadly combo. I'm also on a fb group and everyone complains of their trans going out. Also before then alternator and radiator fan, maf throttle and purge valve at 90000 miles, which none is covered. I did pay $3000 for a extended warranty up to 116000 miles. But this transmission is a Worldwide Nissan problem and should of been recalled. Also my BCI continues malfunctioning. I've only had the vehicle since February 2022.

Airbag light flashing in dashboard; passenger front seat sensor not working- showing unoccupied when occupied with adult. VIN # not showing as part of recall, yet this is a known issue with the model/year. Interesting a common trend with certain VIN #s like mine shown on NHTSA complaints page. Another recall campaign needed to include these VIN numbers. Have reported several times to the dealership. I've now paid $1000 to repair the airbag sensors, and problem is not resolved. Nissan is responsible and this is a safety issue. NTSHA needs to do another recall campaign.

while driving the vehicle randomly looses power to the engine and all electrical power goes off. The dash is completely without power. Engine will not accelerate and looses power steering like the engine is off. After a few moments all power is returned and engine comes back on to normal operation.

I have three issues that I have had within 3 days of buying this certified pre-owned JX35. (1) the vehicle information display (I.e., dashboard panel) stopped working while driving on a major city route leaving me without turn signal capabilities, speedometer, fuel gauge and any vehicle information such as tire pressure, maintenance, etc. The display came back on later and so did the malfunction indicator light. The local Infiniti dealership repaired the problem under warranty by replacing a "combination meter." (2) I received a call from a parts representative at the local Infiniti dealership who stated that a part associated with the occupant classification system (ocs) recall would be in soon and I should make an appointment to get the ocs repaired. …

I have replaced the battery in my 2013 Infiniti JX35 3-4 times. Dealership continues to say this is normal. Recently, multiple exterior light bulbs have gone out and the 'instrument cluster' suddenly went dark while I was driving. I cannot see meters like gas, speed, etc. I cannot hear or see my blinker or headlight indicators. Additionally, all the power controls including speed control no longer work. I am concerned there is a significant electrical safety hazard. I no longer feel safe driving this car with my children. There are many reports of similar claims for the 2013 Infiniti JX35 electrical system online. I would like Infiniti to take responsibility for knowingly putting people in danger by refusing to acknowledge and fix a known problem with this car.
