I was entering onto the highway and my entire defrost / ac / radio cluster failed. The ac came on full blast, replacing the defrost!!! I had to pull over and park the car due to the safety factor of not being able to run my defrost. The issue is the ac, defrost, and radio stack controls stop working. There is no way to get them to work once the problem occurs. There has been a recall on this for G35''s built in 2002 for the 2003 model year. My G35 was built in 2002 but when I called Infiniti they said my ''engine is the wrong model'' Infiniti needs to fix this thru recall as this is a major safety issue concerning the defrost. I can only imagine if my 17 year old daughter had been driving and the defrost went out. I could have been a very rich man at the expense of my daughters life. I have read where thousands of G35 owners are having the same issue. …

Im currently having trouble with my center console losing power to my ac and radio. The problems range from center console display shortages, ac blasting at full strength and being unable to change the setting, to the radio intermittently putting out sound. This problem has LED to safety issues with the car in that the inability to control the ac results in fogged over windshields leading to poor visibility. I've read online that this problem affects many owners of the same car. It was such a problem that Infiniti recalled the '03 G35 sedan for the exact same problems. It is embarrassing that inifiniti does not stand by their product across the board. If they acknowledged that it was a problem in the sedan why are they not responsible for fixing the same problem in the two door model. Would like to know how this problem May be remedied.

Well I bought this car from bellflower auto mart thinking that I bought a pretty dependable car come to find out the previous owner was drinking and driving and totaled the car, so now the car should have a salvage title but it doesnt the airbag system in the car does not work at all, the dealer bought the wrecked car from auction and repaired it themselves and sold it to me as if it was never in any accident, I asked for the carfax report but it unfortunately slipped my mind after all the paper work, but I went the next day to return the car after I found all this out and was kicked off the property.

My third brake light went out so I went to the dealer to purchase a replacement LED lamp. The price of the lamp was $185.00! The parts department said they are very difficult to replace as you have to remove both the trunk lining and rear seat to replace the LED lamp. The labor to replace the lamp is $200.00! I have since noticed that about one half of the Infiniti G35 and g37 models I see on the road have their high mount third brake light inoperative. This is with out a doubt due to the extremely high cost and difficulty to replace what should be a simple replacement lamp.

My 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan has a malfunctioning 3rd brake light. The light has stopped working on my car a few months ago. When I informed the dealership, I was told that they could fix it for a fee. I have spoken with many owners of this car on forums and in person, and many complain of the same problem. The 3rd brake light works intermittently or not at all. I think this is a manufacturer defect but Infiniti does not agree. My model does not have a spoiler. This is a safety issue and many owners I spoke with feel this is not something that they should pay for.

The rear shelf brake light has stopped working. This is an LED light that should last a quite a bit longer if not lifetime. Obviously, the car was designed so this part does not have to be replaced. To replace this light, the entire back seat and rear shelf trim and back side trim must be removed. The light itself costs $150.00 and the dealer charges $500.00 to replace it. I have seen numerous 2003 g35s with the non functioning brake light, most likely due to the expensive repair. This is a safety issue and clearly a product defect.

There is a known issue with the rear window brake light of the Infiniti G35. In 90% of 2003-2004 cars, this issue is known to occur. A non-functioning brake light is a serious safety issue. Infiniti has yet to issue a recall. Later model years do not suffer as much from this issue. To make things worse, this is not a simple bulb replacement. The G35 has a fancy and expensive LED system. A specific diode is known to go bad, which makes this more of a electrical system failure.

LED third brake light fails to light. Apparently this is a very common issue with the 2003- 2004 G35 and is caused by a faulty chip. An aftermarket company is repairing the brake light boards as Infiniti is charging over $400 for the repair and denies it is a problem. Here is a link to about 50 people so far that have reported this issue. Http://g35driver.com/forums/G35-sedan-v35-2003-06/356572-group-effort-push-3rd-brake-light-recall-read-if-yours-out.html.
