The engine light is constantly on, at times when my SUV cranks up, it shakes, and the brake pads has opening of air entrance. I don't feel safe! It's like that when it's in motion, turning, and on highway drive. Also, it acts as if it wants to cut off at times.
On a road trip while highway driving my 2019 cpo Hyundai Tucson/10800 miles, the car did this big jolt and the forward vehicle collision detection avoidance, hazard indicator & service now lights went off. The engine RPM's revved up very high continuously. When I came to a stop the car would barely go with the pedal almost floored. This made the driving thru the intersections with cars honking dangerous. When I turned the car off, it reset itself and was back to normal. The very next day on the highway, the car did the exact same thing with even a bigger jolt and all the indicators above went on again for 10 seconds. Pulled over, turned the engine off and the car reset itself. I got to my destination I took it to keyes Hyundai in van nuys, ca. They decided that the transmission computer needed replacing and did it. …
Purchased January 2016 - limited AWD with factory installed tow hitch. Immediately noticed flickering interior lights and both head lights leaked, one side has been replaced. Later on developed hard start ups, shifting and acceleration issues. Along with intermitting front safety sensors and a glitching center console/back up camera. 7,500 miles in the ac stopped working from freezing over. Took to dealer while on vacation and discovered a melted fuse box cover and burnt tow hitch/ECU wires with an abundance of corrosion. Dealers could no confirm responsibility of the tow hitch harness, claimed it was not factory installed when it was factory installed and even on the original window sticker. We called Hyundai corporate everyday for over a week begging for help with no call backs. Roadside would not cover a tow to the selling dealer. …
First my driver's side rear door got to sticking at 60, 500 mile and now my front passenger side door doing the same thing. My taillight says it's not work and it be working and vis versus, as if there's a shortage. Now the steep hill lights come on along with the car traction light. It's doing it more now than ever. Having to restart my vehicle everytime now to reset it. It doing it at red light and while I'm driving all on it own. My biggest fear is my doors sticking and the dealership in tupelo ms told me I will have to pay for a diagnostic and to me I feel I should not have to because that dealing with my safety. There have not be any thing done to either door for the to be that way on my behalf.

Leased June 25, 2015 car engine quit while driving within two to three days. Key in locked position dealer arrived-able to start car. Explanation -perhaps key fob too heavy. Changed key fob. Last week car stopped again, engine off/key in locked position. Past three months- multiple intermittent electrical problems car taken in for service- could not duplicate.understand intermittent electrical problem difficult to find. I asked after first event to exchange the car. Heated passenger seat came on -passenger noted . Doors lock and unlock without being locked/unlocked by owner. Hatch does not open at times, overhead passenger light on while driving. Engine runs rough. A friend drove x1 day unaware of issues. Let me know it ran rough/did not appear to engage the gears properly.the auto head light on. After going into the house noticed lights still on had to turn off manually. …
When driving to and from work (am/pm) the dbc (downhill brake control) and ESC (electronic stability control) indicator lights will turn on and remain on until I stop and turn off the ignition. When I stop, I am unable to shift the gear into park. While in a panic, I made several attempts to put the vehicle in park and each attempt was unsuccessful. So I put it in neutral to turn the ignition off, waited a few minutes, then restarted it and put it in park in order to remove the ignition key. I May have to try this several times before I am able to shift into park. It has happened several times since the first date. Also, when I shift gears a loud mechanical clunk sounds which jerks the entire vehicle. This even happens when I start off driving and it is very annoying and scary. I have to restart the vehicle several times before it finally stop. …
While driving in stop and go traffic to and from work (am/pm) the dbc (downhill brake control) and ESC (electronic stability control) indicator lights will turn on and remain on until I stop and turn off the ignition. However, when I stop, I am unable to shift the gear into park. I am forced to put it in neutral to turn the ignition off, wait a few minutes, then start the car and put it in park in order to remove the ignition key. I May have to try this several times before I am able to shift into park. It has happened three days in a row. The dealership is unable to duplicate this problem. They did tell me that this is a known problem with the brake switch for some models but my VIN# is not showing a recall. I will need to bring in the car when it actual locks in gear.
