I have had two major issues with my 2017 Honda Accord sport since buying it brand new that the Honda dealership will do nothing about even though I've specifically been told twice on two separate occasions that the car was manufactured defected. My mitigation systems has failed multiple times where it just stops responding losing control of the steering and accelerating on its own. One of those times caused me to run off the highway into the ditch. It just randomly iluminates all "mitigation systems failure" at the most random times. Another thing is the ridiculous tire issues I've had with this vehicle. I have put brand new set, after set, after set on this car. On two occasions atleast one my brand new tires lasted less then two weeks after purchasing due to extreme wear on the inside of the tires. …

While driving on an interstate, I started reducing my speed as I was approaching my exit. Before I could exit, my car automatically came to a complete stop. I was rear ended by a truck that was behind me. There were no vehicles or objects in front of me. 911 was called. The passenger in my car had to be transported to the hospital. My car and the truck had to be towed away. No warning lights appeared. My insurance company will be inspecting the car at the tow shop. Everyone involved safety was put at risk. We are thankful we are alive because this could have been worse.

Traffic was traveling at around 55 miles per hour. The car in front had to make a quick stop to avoid hitting a flagger that could not be seen due to the sun. My car that is equipped with Hondas forward collision mitigation system did not respond. I pressed the brakes myself but did not stop in time resulting in an accident. The system does activate randomly while driving and will slam the brakes when no objects are in the path of the vehicle.

On October 14, 2023, several lights came on after starting the car up, including the ABS light. This had not happened before. We had just had the car serviced for an oil change 2 weeks prior. We called friend who was a mechanic to see what we should do. Not long after we had reached out, we had a situation where we pulled out of our neighborhood and someone illegally turned in front of us almost hit us head-on. The only reason it didn't occur is because I put on breaks very quickly and stopped our car. We took my car to have to lights assessed today and found out that the lights came on due to the ABS Modulator going bad. We also found out that they do not have the part and that it's on backorder. That it has been this way for a year or so. …
