Travelling on interstate when when front-end of vehicle began to vibrate. Moments after the vibration, the car veered hard right on its own. Unable to regain control of vehicle, as steering wheel seemed as it was "locked" in a hard-right enabling position. This malfunction caused the driver to hit a retaining wall at approx 55mph, causing bodily injury. Inspection revealed a faulty/failed steering knuckle, which had completely failed/snapped. While driving on a 4 lane road in columbus to a doctors appointment & getting ready to come to a stop since traffic was backed up, the front passenger side wheel came off, I found this out after getting out of the car safely with so many cars trying to get around me, I saw what was wrong. I thought the axle was broken, but when I had towed to a mechanic, he found out all the wheel studs were stripped on that side & on the all other 3 tires, there were at least 1 or more wheels studs were totally stripped just like the front passenger side. The mechanic told me, 'if I had gone on the freeway doing the 65 MPH or any faster me & my passenger would be dead!' after knowing this information, it made me angry that Honda should have had a recall on this issue, since I'm not the only person in the united states that has a Honda's the same year as mine. …

Tires plus on route 192 in melbourne florida sold my 21 year old daughter a brand new set of Bridgestone tires high performance. They told her her car (a 1999 Honda Accord two door) could only use high performance tires and not the less expensive brand. This was in April or 4 months ago. The tires are now bald and strings are flying off them. When she took the car back to tires plus they saoid that there was no guarantee on those tires. They said they had no mileage warranty. The salesman told her that they gave her a break on her alignement. She said she never asked for a break and had no idea they gave her one and what does that have to do with the defected ( all four) tires. They told her the air pressure was 31 pounds and should be 35 lbs. She told them she pumps them daily and they don't hold the air. …

When vehicle is facing down hill , and you put in reverse it goes forward .I spoke to the service advisor he said it was normal.I personally do not think its normal .I have an `89 Ford tempo as old as it is it does not roll downhill when in reverse and facing downhill.I have come close to hitting my garage door because of that. Also when putting in gear in any kind of Land level it cracks and makes noises. Tires vibrate ,front ones also on the highway it strays to the right a lot . I`ve checked air pressure on tires to make sure that did not cause the pulling to the right, and it was not that .air pressure is lost a lot also ,every 2-3 weeks air in front tires goes down approximateley 4-6 pounds, and rears go down 2-3 puonds.I have to check air pressure on a weekly bases .( dot number: tire size: p195/65r15 )

These tires flatten out like the old bias ply tires, and feel like you are driving on a washboard for the first couple of miles. This generally happens after the car sits for a couple of days. I have not experienced this with any other radial ever. I have owned at least 22 automobiles with various brands of radials, and have never had this happen.( dot number: tire size: p195/65r15 )
