While traveling on the interstate this morning, the speed on my 2006 GMC Envoy dropped suddenly and I had to pull to the side the road where the car completely stopped. I notified OnStar, who performed a diagnostic test and indicated there was an issue with the fuel delivery system. The car would start up again, but only momentarily and the engine would die again. I had it towed to my home and am contemplating what to do at this point in terms of repair. There was another issue just over 2 months ago when the fuel gauge was not working and it ran out of gas. No indicator light ever came on. There was at least 15 gallons of gas in the vehicle today, as I had just filled it up a few days ago and had not traveled far. I have filled it up every weekend since the indicator light incident. About 2 years ago, I had to replace other parts related to the fuel..possibly called a fuel regulator?? …

This suv made a loud sound, began to drift, in the rear, at hwy speeds before it tipped over and began to roll, ejecting my two minor sons from the passenger cab before it eventually landed on its side. the roof was molded in a triangular shape, preventing it from resting on the roof as it tilted back onto inside and remains after the last roll The triangular shape was created in the metal after the stabilizing structures gave way almost immediately providing possibly no protection to the patrons inside the carrier cab of suv. demonstrating its inability protect its occupants.
The contact owns a 2004 GMC Envoy. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently accelerate without warning. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that they were unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
After driving vehicle tends to lunge forward even after brakes are stepped on or after parked at a red light, in the first case driving at highway speeds, the speedometer freezes and hangs, during this occurrence we do not know what speed limit we are going which is scary and a safety concern especially with children in the car, to troubleshoot the problem and bring speedometer down to zero MPH, the car would need to be turned on and off numerous times to set back to zero
I was stopped at a light when the car accelerated on its own, I pressed the brake but the car would not stop . I hit car the car in front of me, I had to put car in neutral to stop the car. Car was towed to dealer, the cause was a internally shorted throttle body. The throttle body was replaced. This was the third time car accelerated on own and would not stop. The first two times my mechanic could not find any problem.
The dash cluster does not work correctly, all the lights turn on and doors lock while I am driving on in town or on the highway , all the gauges come on at once while driving on the streets at random times.. The rear has airbags in the suspension and and aren't working properly, I took it to the shop and they said it had 30 codes on the diagnostic machine but they couldn't find the problem
