The gasoline tank strap broke while in motion in the city and the tank was at 1/8 filled up. The same day of the issue I search online at NHTSA.gov site and found a recall for the same issue. When I checked with the dealer to fix it they claim my vehicle is not eligible.

While driving my car stalls out, I keep having problems with ball joints, my sway bar or chain has busted, seat belt for driver will not retract, rust and erosion has been so bad that I actually had to replace the whole front bumper assembly, and I have no heat.

Durango was parked at a business lot when my mother tried to start it the gas gauge didn't register, so she called my husband to come and see if he could get the vehicle started. He couldn't get it started after about half and hour of trying so he called a friend to tow it home. I went with them to tow it and tread before we hooked it up to start the Durango. The gas gauge registered and the vehicle started. I drove it about three blocks before the vehicle shut down on me in the middle of traffic. It started back up and I drove about half a block before the Durango shut off on me again. I was lucky enough to manage to pull over to the side of the road this time, but I was still in the lane the vehicles were driving in with a vehicle that wouldn't start. Once again the gas gauge wouldn't register and vehicle wouldn't start. …

Last year I had to replaced the master brain was told this was the problem. Vehicle dies at stop light. I push it to the side of the road to investigate. Vehicle engine cranks but doesn't fire. On odometer display it says no bus. Fuel pump not coming on when ignition is turned on . I walk to parts store and buy fuel pump relay ,or circuit breaker. Put it in , fuel pump comes on engine starts . Wife is driving it two days later . Vehicle dies in busy intersection . Nice people push her off the road way. She calls me , I tell her to take circuit breaker to parts store and get new one. She replaces breaker ,she's on the road again. So now I do some reading find out circuit breakers just get hot stop working , cool down and work again. So some thing is drawing too much current. Replace the fuel pump and filter , big pain in the you know what. Vehicle dies two days later. Nice man pulls me off the road. I leave vehicle sit for an hour . Vehicle starts back up. …

I drove to town, stopped and turned off my engine for an 30 minute wait with construction. It started and I drove to visit my son. I turn off the engine, stayed a bit to visit, went to go home and it wouldn't start. Finally got it to start and drove it home and parked it. Drove to town a couple of days later and it died while driving, barely made it to town. Looked for information on the net only to find this is a very common problem and a major safety issue. This vehicle dies while driving and control of the vehicle at highway speeds is highly dangerous. Why hasn't Chrysler issued a recall? Are they waiting for someone (or an entire family) to die? Is that really what it takes, a loss of life before anything will be done? I've read that it could be the PCM, the PCM wiring harness, or a computer chip/sensor/relay something or other under the air cleaner. …
