I am asking you to issue a safety recall on my vehicle. You investigated the 2015 model for the same issue and it was recalled as a result. The 2016 is just as dangerous. Is there a reason why the lives of people who drive 2015 models are more valuable than mine or my children? It turns off while driving with no warning and leaves me in the middle of intersections! The steering cuts off too. I have to first struggle to control the steering, shift into park, push start, and wait, while I brace myself for the impact that is about to shatter my spine or kill my children! It began as soon as I hit 60K miles a few weeks ago and happens every time I drive it. …

When I accelerate from a stop sign or from a stopped position the vechicle will rev high and not pick up speed. It will stall in the middle of an intersection or as I am driving. This has been occurring since I purchased the vehicle in March 2016. When the vehicle is being started, the car engine and electrical system flickers uncontrollably. All of the lights on the dash board goes off and on the dials goes up and down. The engine shacks as it would like to start but doesn't. It would take up to 2 to 3 times to restart the car to work properly. Recently April 2, 2021, as I was driving majority of the lights came on, transmission, parking brake, ABS lights came on. The power steering is not fully functional and the transmission is not reacting normally. As I accelerate during tgis time the traction control symbol flashes and yhe car has difficulty picking up speed. …

Vehicle is stalling, completely shutting off, losing power while driving. It has done it as 20mph, 45mph, going straight, turning left, turning right. There is no notification that this is happening. The only thing I can tell it's happening is it looses power, steering locks up and the car dash says "shift to p to start vehicle". When I do that, the car takes at least 30-456 seconds to completely start back up and running. It acts like it does not want to start back up. I have travelled county roads, city streets, highways and it has done it on each one of them. This is not OK and something that needs to be blown off with no recall. I have 2 small children that is 99.9% of the time in the car with me. I can not have this continue to happen with nothing being done or resolved of this. …

Car has shut off while driving last few weeks. It happened. As soon as I turned onto a road, going 20-30 MPH, it has happened while trying to merge onto the freeway. The car just stalls, says "place in p to start" and then dies. The gearshift and wheel lock up and you have to turn the car off and attempt to restart. Each time I had to try at least 3 times to get the car restarted. All lights come on dash, battery light included, but had battery checked and it is fine. Trying to restart, it doesn't want to turn over. This has happened with several cars behind me and have almost been rear ended because of it. Took it to the dealship but, all they told me to do was track my oil changes but, the problem still remains.

Since I've bought the car, upon accelerating, stopping, pretty much doing any driving the car will bubble under and jerk as if you're manually switching shifts. It has only gotten worse over the 2 years I've owned this car and no one can seem to help because there's no "code" that finds the problem. My car also, will lock the wheel while I'm driving, lock the brake and gas and turn completely off as if the battery died and I can't put the car in neutral or anything since it is locked. This has almost caused my to be in multiple vehicle crashes. The car is now shaking and still having a bubbly feel under the car as if it's having a hard time starting up while I'm driving.

I have a 2016 Chrysler 200 and of you are a quart low the vehicle has a sensor which tells the vehicle to shut off it don't matter we're you are at and you can only go 1800 to 2000 miles till it burns that quart off so when the vehicle dies the power steering is turned off and the steering wheel locks so there is no way to get off the road you have to stop the car and put in park to start again I called the manufacturer and they told me that means so safty is working properly so they can't do anything but to me that seems like a safty hazard to anyone in the car to get rear ended or in a intersection
