The 2015 Chevy Traverse had a hard shifting transmission from the first day we purchased it. The Chevy Dealer said that it was a shifting software problem. That did not fix it. The hard shifting transmission caused an engine motor mount to break twice. (There was a safety recall on the motor mount) That engine motor mount caused the power steering fluid to leak out. I contacted the Chevy Dealer and they said contact General Motors. General Motors ignored the problems.
The biggest problem is that mechanics don't know how to fix this problem. Traction control needs servicing with causes you to lose acceleration on the freeway. Then sometimes stabilitrac also goes off. Now the vehicle engine keeps running when turned off. The air conditioning sometimes randomly won't work at all, and last the tire servicing system now won't sync.
Our vehicle has a hole/leak in the pipe before the catalytic converter. This is a known problem in other years of the Traverse, and the warranty was increased substantially to fix an obvious and proven issue. GM needs to repair our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse at no cost to us before the fumes cause harm to anyone in the cabin.
Vehicle shuts off while driving check engine light and traction light turn on.. sometimes starts shaking really bad... also decelerates while driving.. incidents have occurred multiple times within the last 4 months
Hello, there is a recall on my vehicle and the parts are not available to replace the part. This is my only vehicle and right now I am not able to drive my vehicle because of this recall. Please Advise.
Recently leased vehicle is a hazard! On different occasions when driving, the vehicle accelerates, decelerates and brakes on its own. Transmission caught on fire with no prior warning. The vehicle can not drive straight, it does not move when placed into reverse and sounds like a car badly out of shape. The vehicle bucks and makes loud clunking sounds as if the different speeds could not kick in. The car has never given any warning on the dashboard for all the issues it presents. Electrical issues: can not charge phone on it. Taken vehicle to the mechanic at the dealership but their reports state no codes available for any possible issue. Only until the car started to burn and show smoke, did the mechanics attempt to fix it. …
