Shortly after purchase, one of the factory tires had a side bulge. The dealer indicated in their opinion, was from a pot hole. However when they checked the rim, it was not damaged. I had tire replaced. Then at 39K miles, all the the other tires were already getting worn out. I've NEVER had tires wear about pre-40K miles in all my life. At local belle tire, they told me that the Hankook tires that come with new cars are not the same quality as those you would buy at tire store. But I submitted a replacement claim to Hankook, as the belle tire rep suggested, but they would not honor anything. Simply said need tire insurance. I notice when buying the car new, the dealers offer extra (cost) tire insurance. Must be because the are lousy, compared to buying at a local tire store. Now at 42K I'm replacing tires already. New cars should come with same quality tires as you buy at tire stores. …

Our Trailblazer is in excellent condition with one exception. The tires leak air at the rims. We have had the tires removed from the rims to have the rims resealed and that lasts for a brief period of time. We have aluminum rims. It is our understand that the rims have developed spurs due to use. Our Trailblazer has approximately 67000 miles. It is housed in a garage and used daily. My husband often has to fill the tires before we can leave home. During the winter months he has to fill them if we take a 2 1/2 hour trip or if it sits overnight in cold. This is very disappointing and remains frustrating. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.

Chevy vehicles have had multiple problems with their TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) on all vehicle types. The failure occurs at the wheel itself. Although this is a safety device, it has turned into a useless piece of equipment which no owner can afford to keep up with . What happens is that the pressure monitor system at the wheel is very sensitive and fails quickly. The amount of repair for one unit costs approximately $200, and that is for one wheel. Chevy should be doing a recall on all vehicles, that have the TPMS system. This problem is not unique to one vehicle, if you do a google search on TPMS and Chevy or GM you'll find that this is a common problem. After I had the first one replaced the dealer told me that I shouldn't bother because it will only fail again. …

I lease a new vehicle, trailer blazer on dec 31st 2005, from grand prize Chevrolet on sw117 av and 152 st. At the end of June 2006 I had a blew up tire on I 75 going north, reaching tampa. It exploded on a side and because the way it looked I suspect it was defective tire. I call the seller at the dealer and explained to him. He told me to bring the tire to be inspected. My wife did it and they did not even look at it, they said it is not our problem. Am I in any way, since it has only 6 month after leasing it, protected against a possible defective tire issue?
