Engine & cooling

While driving ABS light came on. When applying brakes pedal went to the floor. Dealer contacted. Transmission & drivetrain

My 2001 Chevy tb has already had the transmission rebuilt as the result of a sun shield failure at 36K miles. As of right now I am at 90K and it is failing again. A quick search through edmunds.com shows this is not an isolated incident. Chevy has done nothing to rectify this and since they were the ones who supposedly fixed it before, they have obviously not attempted to engineer an adequate fix for this failure. If this fails on an interstate there will be a serious safety issue for me and my family.

Automatic transmission · 94,000 miles · Dec 2007

While pulling out onto a busy highwaytransmission jerked and bogged down. When trying to accelerate to keep from getting rear ended, I pushed the acceleratot but 1st to second gear would not engage. After backing of the accelerator the gears caught. Now it will not go in reverse and 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th has trouble engaging.

Brakes

While coming to a stop in my 2001 Chevy Trailblazer the brake system (ABS) keeps engaging causing it not to stop. I have went through many stop signs and intersections from not being able to stop. Changed all the brakes ,bleed the brakes and put new sensors on..still having the same issues . I have read that GM knows that this is a flaw in the design ,what can be done about it?
