What owners report
On 5 separate occasions the windshield wipers have stopped working while in use. The wipers returned to the home position and would not turn back on. Each time I had to get safely to the side of the road and stop shut the car off while travelling at highway speeds. After 10-15 minutes the wipers began working until the next incident. My safety as well as others on the road I was travelling were put at risk as I was not able to see out of the front windshield. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone other than me. This is the fifth time this condition has presented itself and there were no warning lamps, messages, or symptoms prior to each occurrence.
Wiper system failed. No function of front wipers. Issue occurred on freeway, in heavy rain conditions, with fast moving traffic surrounding. Visibility with the inability to clear the windshield was at a minimum or not possible. Required pulling over, could have easily caused collision with no forward vision. Vehicle is currently at a dealership for evaluation. Previously brought into dealership, "no problem found" reported by the dealership mechanics. Three separate occurrences of this issue. No other warnings or lights associated.

Several months ago, I was at a fast food drive up window. I had my drivers side window down while paying for my food and receiving my food. It was down pouring and the inside of my door got pretty wet. I wiped off the rain as best as I could but everything was soaked. The very next day the drivers side door controls started to go haywire. The window button stopped working and my door locks only worked occasionally until they stopped working all together. My side mirrors can no longer be adjusted from the drivers seat. I have to get out of the vehicle and manually adjust both driver and passenger side mirrors. I'm not sure if there is a short in the wiring from the rain or just what is going on. I asked a parts dealer to see how much it would cost to replace the drivers side door controls module and he was of no help except to say its a recall part because of moisture. …
