I was driving at approximately 35 -40 mph in foggy and wet conditions. As I approached a corner, I collided with a big metal dumpster. My airbags gave off that powder, and the smell was prominent, and the dash light came on. As well as, my side airbags (only the plastic) popped out, but, to my amazement, none of my actual airbags deployed at all. And my passenger seat belt was locked up to where I couldn't use it anymore, and no one was in that seat. Had I been in a frontal collision, I might have died. This is a major safety issue I have a 2107 Silverado 1500 LT.

The first time I was traveling at 65mph in moderate traffic, it was very difficult to pull over to safety. The second time I was traveling at 50mph on a very windy road with heavy traffic. I almost hit another vehicle head on with several vehicles traveling in both lanes. The last time I was backing into my carport and almost bumped I to my house. 3. No, I called onstar the first time, they did a system check and said everything was good. I called a dealership the Second time and they confirmed I had no open recalls and explained it would be difficult to troubleshoot because it was intermittent. 4.
