Today my wipers decided they would park in a straight up 12 o clock position, due to a tab that gets bent on the wiper parking mechanism. I know my car isn't the only one that has done it, a lot of other Chevy's have as well, and its a safety issue for sure, kind of hard to see with 2 wipers in my vision, due to a faulty tab that needs to be recalled. General motors/Chevy is well aware of the issue to, as they've released a TSB on it, and even made an updated parking mechanism with a stronger parking tab to stop this issue.
I was traveling at 40 MPH, had my rear defroster on, had static on my radio and I turned off the defroster and then boom my rear window blew out and crackled and popped. I thought maybe I blew a tire and was going to pull off the road and I looked in my rear view mirror and it was cracked in a million pieces. I have a glass service coming to repair tomorrow, as I can't wait due to possible rain.
Dt: since buying the vehicle the consumer had a problem with the rotors. They have been replaced twice. While braking the rotors caused the steering wheel to shake violently. Took vehicle to the dealer for a third time yesterday. The dealer said this was an issue with the lamination on the rotors. The consumer did not have rotors replaced because he was afraid he would be charged for the repair as well the dealer placing the same type of rotors that have been rusting in the past. The mechanic noted air bubbles in the casting in the rotors which the caused the rusting. When the vehicle was driven at speeds of 60 MPH or even 30 MPH, the consumer noticed pulsation in the brake pedal, however, when approaching exit ramps and when more pressure was applied to the pedal, a more severe pulsation would cause the steering wheel to vibrate violently. …
Window regulator has gone out three times on two windows. 2008, 2010, 2014. The whole system is a bad design and cable jumps track at the least of bit jarring. This is a scary thing to happen as when the window falls it is a loud popping sound. Twice window fell down at car wash. Once traveling 55 miles an hour. Thought someone shot at the car. If window falls while no one is around theft could occur or if raining it will soak your car. Someone needs to investigate how these window regulators are made because they are not safe. Talked to person who installed them and he had two regulators go out on is f150 Ford truck and he reported it too. Also happened to my family member too two of his regulators had to be replaced on his f150 truck. I don't know how many complaints you receive but something has to be done. This a safety hazard. …
I purchased this car in 09/01 it has been a problem ever since. Front end needed to be rebuilt at 1200 miles and then again at 2000 miles. Air conditioner has been a constant problem (I was told I needed to park some place else) the manifold gaskets had to be replaced at 48000 miles and now the wiper switch has gone bad. The front end feels real bad, but they claim there is nothing wrong. Just waiting for the front end to fall out from underneath the car on a hot, rainy, July morning. I'm going back to Ford. Oh yeah forgot, paint went bad 1 year after I bought it. GM says I drove through something.
