What 2007 Chevrolet Blazer owners say

Fuel & propulsion system

The gas gauge on our 2007 Chevy trailblazer has stopped working. This nearly caused an accident because suddenly I thought I was leaking gas on the freeway after recently filling up. The car is 3 years and 2 months old with 42,000 miles. This seems to be a common defect judging by the complaints on the internet. Chevy/GM will not provide any assistance in fixing this known defect other than charging $800+.

Gage became erratic, not accurately reflecting amount in the tank, read full when not...low fuel lite came on when there was fuel in the tank, some time when started it reflects, we think accurately, then the next time does not-stays on full and over 30 minutes May gradually ease its way down. I have 3 friends at work with same issue, same vehicle.
