So inside of my vehicle I am unable to open my trunk by flipping the trunk switch. My left passenger door is unable to function properly. The windows won't toll down, the door is unable to lock and it's stressful because my car got broken into because of it. My right mirror turn signal doesn't function any more when I signal right it signals really fast and it's only signals using my headlight and tail light signals. Sometimes there is a kick to my car when I'm driving and in a couple of occasion when I start my vehicle my car revs up on it's own. Just a bunch of issues it's stressful..

For the second time in 3 years, my rear windshield has completely shattered without warning. The car was parked in the driveway. When I got in, I heard a loud pop. I looked back and saw that the rear windshield had completely shattered. I had not yet started the car. The first time that it happened 3 years ago, I was sitting at a red light and it shattered. The kids were in the car the first time and got glass on them.

The headliner is pulling away from the rear pillars. Being the primary driver of the vehicle I do not spend time in the back seat. My daughter is currently learning to drive so on a recent errand I was sitting in the back seat and looked up to see the headliner completely pulling away and coming down from the roof of the car and dome light. When I got back home, I did some internet research and found a multitude of websites, forums, etc. With people experiencing the same issue. Here are just a few of the addresses that I found: http://www.carcomplaints.com/Volkswagen/Jetta/2006/accessories-interior/headliner_separating_from_ceiling.shtml http://rich-blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/2006-Volkswagen-Jetta-tdi-headliner-problems.html http://forums.volkswagenvortex.com/showthread.php?5104886-sagging-falling-headliner-warranty-success-stories-please …

First noticed that the sunroof on my '06 Jetta tdi would intermittently open and (sometimes) close on it's own. Since then my door locks no longer function on the drivers side front and rear doors. I cannot use the key to lock all of the doors and activate the car alarm. The rear driver side door never locks even with the key and cannot be opened from the inside by the passenger. The alarm system will not engage and the rear windows will only operate from the driver's door. Initially these issues would come and go but have now become a continuous problem. The car cannot be secured. These issues pose a safety hazard to my family and my personal property. I was planning on passing the car down to my son when he becomes old enough to drive (in 2 years) however with these issues I do not trust the safety of this vehicle. …

The drivers side door electrical system does not work. The locks, windows, mirrors, trunk latch, gas tank latch, mirror defroster et al. In speaking the vw service reps they knew right away that the issue was a broken harness. They indicated it had failed in many other vehicles. However, in speaking with vw customer care they are not willing to accept responsibility for the known issue. I will let the safety experts determine the severity of this design failure but the doors can not be locked or unlocked, the door ajar light remains on and dings all the time, the interior lights are on night and day making visibility at night difficult and last but not least the windows cannot be put down. Please address this as vw does not appear willing and this issue is everywhere with this model year and make. Thanks!
