The contact purchased the Carfax report which revealed that the actual mileage on the vehicle was 297,000; not the 107,000 shown on the instrument panel. The contact subsequently discovered that a fake Carfax report was provided at the time of the purchase, which showed that the vehicle was also involved in several crashes and had several prior owners. The batter has been bad since the beginning. Even the original battery would right away leak and leave a lot of residue. My car since the beginning has told me there is something wrong with the power system. But Toyota keeps insisting that it's just a random message. And that they don't know why it says it. It's concerning because I constantly need to get a new battery. The other thing is that. When I unlock my car. Either the passenger side or the drivers side doesn't lock or unlock. It's mostly scary for me because there are times that I'm not in the safest area and I struggle to open it manually. I also have a few other friends that have the same car as I do and same year and they are also having the same problem. And the third thing is the ac system just decided to only work when it wants to. It seems like it's a faulty system.

Second time this has happened in 2 years. Driving on the freeway and the car's electrical system shuts off. No power to any electrical, lights flicker, all dash lights came on. Car would not start, then to repair it the battery needed to be replaced and the alternator needed to be replaced. Very dangerous as I immediately lose power steering, lights, etc.
