I had my truck at the dealer for a recall, I noticed my seatbelt wasn't locking when I pulled on the shoulder strap. I asked them to look into this when my vehicle was there. They did, said the seatbelt was defective, but Chrysler was not going to cover this. After further review none of my seatbelt shoulder straps lock when you pull on them fast. I have a crew cab truck so that is 5 seatbelts with shoulder straps. My dealership was on the phone with Chrysler for over an hour trying to get them to cover this safety defect, they just kept saying no, truck is out of warranty. After reading all these complaints, will my airbags deploy if I'm in an accident? I don't know and hope I don't have to find out the hard way. This happens all the time driving or standing still. The dealership told me the seatbelts are defective. …
