While driving, I noticed smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. Within moments, flames appeared in the engine area and spread quickly, causing severe damage to the front portion of the car including the engine, electrical system, and body. No warning lamps, error messages, or unusual behavior were observed prior to the incident. The fire started suddenly without any indication of mechanical or electrical issues. My safety and the safety of others nearby were put at risk as the fire escalated rapidly. The problem has not been reproduced or inspected by the manufacturer or dealer yet, but the vehicle was completely disabled and is no longer operable due to the fire damage. Cause of the fire is UNKNOWN at this time.
My Nissan Sentra burst into flames on July 27,2022-not sure why this occurred; the car was last serviced before this incident on June 17, 2022-the car's Compressor/AC were replaced. I had just parked the car at a hotel when the fire began. The only inspection was from a fire marshal and the insurance company that car was a complete loss. There was no warning when this happened and had I had a full tank of gasoline this would have gravely injured me. The car had seven years of meticulous upkeep so this catastrophe was totally unexpected. The autos parked on either side of me suffered serious damage as well.
Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2014 Nissan Sentra. The contact discovered a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a private sale. However, the seller had an LLC. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 96,642. It was later discovered that the mileage on the title was 229,347 on January 6, 2026. When the vehicle was registered in Florida, the mileage was 96,642 on February 2, 2026. The contact discovered the discrepancy from a Carfax Report.
2014 Nissan Sentra -My abs system light came on failed inspection and had to be replaced. I had 32,322 miles on my car. I am 73 years old and for me to pay out over $1000,00 for a part that should not have failed according to the three certified mechanics. The light appeared the day I took it in to get my inspection sticker. This is so disheartening, to say the least. other models have been recalled ...my mechanic said it would be dangerous to drive it ...I contacted Nissan and all they could say was it's not under warranty and they have no recalls on my year. if you could help or direct me how to get help I would greatly appreciate it
Transmission failure in under 3 years. I replaced my transmission and rear assembly in 2022-23. It started with pressing the gas pedal and the car wouldn't accelerate while in heavy traffic. I spent over $3,000 on a brand new engine. Come 2024 the exact same problem with the repair price being quoted at around $7,000. There was no hard driving on the car so I don't understand how it's going so soon. I've never had so much trouble with a car.

Car was purchased on March,2014, we have replaced the all 4 tires already, bearing and strut needed to replaced, the battery died, which was replaced on Tuesday April 19th, 2016, by pepboys, because Nissan did not cover it. We have radio problem. Sometimes the car does not pick up the key and does not start. Sometimes the indications on the dash board such as mileage, gas mileage goes blank . Also my radio stops and the navigation system does not start. Radio has been fixed 2 times already. The biggest concern is the mechanical problems, because even with a new battery that is 2 days old, the car does not start sometimes. Also courtesy Nissan in richardson texas refused to help us with any of this, even though we bought extended 100,000 mile warranty. Car has 40,000 miles on it now. At the time these problems started it has 36,000 miles. …
Fuel pump failure at 75K miles. Resulted in vehicle sputtering, then stalling, dashboard lights going out and then turning back on with more than half a tank difference in the fuel reading, and then ran out of gas entirely. Brought to dealership who denied there being an open recalls on the vehicle ever, which is incorrect as I've already had to replace the transmission from a recall. The vehicle is completely unstable and is now also having problems holding brake fluid. Can't fill tank at the gas station either because refueling stops immediately every two seconds after turning on even if you physically hold it there... You continue to have to click it back on because the fuel is not accepted by the vehicle. This car should be recalled entirely. It is unsafe and has stranded me 3 times and repairs have been unreasonable. …

My 2014 Nissan Sentra has issues with acceleration. At various times even with the accelerator full pushed down, the car will not accelerate and will eventually slow to under 20 MPH even on a flat surface. Nissan has repaired the issue once, but now will not respond to my correspondence in regards to the issue, now the car is out of warranty and is having the same issue, I have less than 45K on the car. In addition, the tails lights are retaining moisture, I have read that this May be causing a short in the electrical system and May be the cause of the problem. I am afraid to drive the car and it is now parked in my driveway. This has happened multiple times and the problem still remains unresolved. Mileage at the first incident is approximate, but it did happen less than a year after purchasing the car new.
