Purchased brand new Honda 2018 and it came with Hankook 235/60R18 KINERGY GT H436 BW At 30,000 miles all 4 tires need to be replaced. Honda manufacturer and dealer confirmed that this is a known issue. I contacted Hankook manufacturer and was told that although the 235/60R18 KINERGY GT H436 have a 70,000 mile warranty, the 235/60R18 KINERGY GT H436 tires that come with the new car are designed to only last 30,000 miles out of the usual 70,000. Hankook deliberately engineered their tires to fail at 30,000 putting my life and the life of my family in danger in order to generate a profit. When purchasing my new car I was under the impression (based on the Hankook manufacturer's website) that my new tires would be covered by the 70,000 mile warranty and would thus last more than just 30,000. All my other new cars, the tires lasted well over the warranty that they initially came with. …

My car skidded and failed to stop in acceptable distance/time in one inch of snow nearly causing me to collide with pedestrian in roadway. I was alarmed that this had happened and asked my mechanic to evaluate any braking defects. I was informed my tires were worn to 4/32nd and thus had little tread left to grip road surface. Mechanic noted all alignments and rotations were timely performed by owner of vehicle . I was shocked because vehicle is a 2018 Honda crv with 18000 miles . These tires are rated for 50000 miles or 6 years. You can image my shock that tires wore out so fast and driving vehicle in security is now questionable. Tier manufacturer hankook is denying tire defectiveness even though Honda dealership has proved hankook liable as no vehicle defect is discovered. I ask your organization to examine this tire for faulty manufacture and notify consumers that tire is unreliable.

Sensor indicating low tire pressue will come on randomly while driving down the road at any speed. There is no issue with tire pressures when this occurs (I stop and pull off the road and check each tire with a pressure gauge). Dealer states this is a known issue as the "tire sensors" actually work by calculating the rotation of each tire, if they don't match, sensor goes off indicating low pressure. Per dealer, system gets "confused". Only way to fix is to pull over and stop, then use a special "hard reset of the tire pressure system" that is not explained in the vehicle manual. Dealer states Honda has no fix. Safety concern is you do not know if you really have a flat tire or not, causing you to pull over and check tires with a pressure gauge in the middle of traffic.

According to blackstone labs.oil analysis using oil from the first oil change at 5K miles on 1/2019 oil contaminated with gas from direct fuel injection system problem. Driveability problem due to sticking acceleration pedal. This hesitation has almost caused accidents. My wife is reluctant to drive this vehicle. This fuel contamination of crankcase oil can cause serious damage to internal engine parts.this is a major problem regarding city & highway driving that acceleration is needed to maintain traffic flow. I have to be careful to avoid having to need to accelerate causing major hesitation (flat) & accelerator pedal stuck in down ( to floorboard) position.

Apparently defective tire with tread/belt separation which resulted in a sudden loss of tire pressure. My daughter was driving the vehicle on us23 northbound at posted speed. She felt what she thought was minor tire unbalance, but suddenly the tire lost air pressure and she pulled over to the side of the road and had the spare tire mounted. The next day, I had all four tires replaced for safety since they had moderate tread wear at 50,000 miles and we are going into winter. I kept the defective Bridgestone tire.

Driving in town going to store smelled something like dead animal or some hair burning horrible smell almost got sick and or passed out. Next couple of times I drove it the smell got better but I told my son. I couldn't drive it anymore cause I was getting sick. Then the smell went away and oil light came on saying I had 15% oil life left. Me and my son smelled oil stick and it smelled like gasoline. Tires were worn on the inside on all four at 11,940. Miles. I had to pay my own money to balance them again
