Dealer has falsely stated that past airbag recall work was completed. The timeframe they gave of completion is incorrect. We owned the car during the timeframe they said the repairs were done, but they were not done. We had a mechanic from Honda call use around the stated time (years ago, I cant recall specifically, dealer has the info), but the mechanic never came yet marked the work as completed. I asked the dealer and they ran a report and said wok was done. I'm basically driving a ticking time bomb.

The SRS light comes on and once cleared/reset it will typically return after 2-4 trips. it was confirmed when the car when air bags were checked for recalls. This first appeared in 2018 with airbag recalls. It became a recurring issue in 2021 when after each reset it would return. The reset would last months and when the battery was drained it might reappear. In 2024 Jan. the reset and light return cycle become more consistent with it returning within 2-4 trips.

Put my seat belt on at the stop sign I had forgot remembering at stop sign. Made a right turn on camp wisdom and just before passing power plant is last I remember . I looked down at the speedometer which read 35 mphtill it was like 3 hours later and everything just faded in and was in a car with my dad in passenger seat. When I became aware the next day I tried to remember what happened and I had out of body experience saw myself walking down the road just above it and what we depict as jesus pointing at me walking then I came to in car with my dad.went back to look at vehicle it hit a tree in front and the side. It was missing a tire from driver side rear. Air bags didn't deploy at all as should have. …

To Honda corporation re: recall department on June 19 2014 I was driving my 2001 Honda Accord coupe when I was suddenly hit by a delivery truck who was trying to make an illegal left turn in front of me. My car was total. The front side and passenger side of my car are totally demolished. The irony of it all is that, the front and the side air bag failed to deploy. And as the result I was severely injured without the protection of the air bag. On March 2015 which is almost a year after my accident I received an air bag recall letter from Honda corporation. I should have received the warning and recall letter before my accident which is June 19 20014. Honda corporation is responsible for my injuries for making a defaulted air bag and failed to warn me about the situation before my accident. …

As crazy as it sounds ,I just had the Takata recalled air bag replaced several weeks ago in my Honda from Takata. Today November 6th I was involved in a front end collision going around 35mph on a state highway. The new replaced air bag on the drivers side steering wheel never deployed but the passenger air bag did deploy. The tow truck driver said he has never seen just a passenger air bag go off and not the drivers bag go off to. The drivers air bag never deployed is there a problem with this new air bag from Takata not going off or an installation issue?. The air bag was replaced by Smart Honda dealership in des moines iowa several week ago. The car is at impound right now at the towing company it is not going anywhere because of the damage to the car. There is a police report of the accident...thx
