What 2000 GMC Pickup owners say

Brakes

Accelerator sticks in the up position and has to be tapped to move it to accelerate, sometimes causing a rapid acceleration. I've head people diving Chevrolet trucks complain of the same problem. The brake problem is, when applying the brake and you hit a bump or the yellow indicators marking lanes on the road the truck sort of hydroplanes over them and doesn't slow down until you get on the flat part of the road again.

Antilock/traction control/electronic limited slip · Dec 1999 · 1 injury

Since I have owned my truck May,2000.I have had to replace both front hub assemblies. My ABS system has went out and my sending unit went out also. The ABS system is very dangous on this vehicle and the left side front hub assembly went out, and my tire would have fell off if my boss hadn't checked it for me.
