What 1995 GMC Pickup owners say

Windows, wipers & sunroof

GMC sent a recall letter in February 2003 and stated wipers for GMC trucks would stop working intermittently. The letter also stated if you have had this problem, take your vehicle to a GMC dealer for repairs at no cost to you. The letter did not require the repair be done, only indicated if you have had this problem. I never had the itermittent problem, my wipers stopped with no warning in February 2005. GMC refuses to make these necessary costly repairs even though it is a life threatening matter.

On several occasions windshield wiper motor stalls / stops when in traffic, in heavy rainstorms / normal operations which causes poor visibility that can result in a collision. However, there was a recall (98V150000 / 98V150001) prior to failure, dealer will not repair due to warranty.
