Vehicle description: passenger vehicles equipped with 4.6l engines. A coolant flow blockage exists at the intake manifold heater core nipple resulting in no coolant flow to the heater and, therefore, no warm air flow from the heater or windshield defroster.
Remedy: Customers will be asked to verify, following instructions provided, that heated air flows from their vehicle's heater/defroster outlets.
Parking brake › Conventional
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. If a vehicle is parked with the parking brake not fully applied and not in first gear, as directed in the owner guide, and the self adjustment pawl subsequently skips one or two teeth, the vehicle could move on some grades.
Remedy: Dealers will modify the parking brake control and install a plate or over-bracket to the control to lock the self adjust mechanism in position following adjustment.

Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The seat belt retractor May have a pin shaft in the switchable elr/alr mechanism that is incorrectly formed. In some circumstances, the switching mechanism could become nonfunctional, preventing the seat belt webbing from being extracted from the retractor.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the lap and shoulder belt assemblies. Assemblies with julian date codes of 200 through 223 are suspect and will be replaced.

I 'm having problems with the brakes of my Mustang gt 2000. This car has only 13500 driving miles and for three occasions I had been with the brakes because its has the sticking problems (front left side and rear right side). Eventually the pads and calipers turned hot and brakes do not stop the car. The last time of this event the car was on an accidents and we went down on a hill and my car broke down the front part. I was reading in internet many people are having the same problems with Mustang from 99-04.
Failures in brakes system on Mustang gt 99 to 2004 the brake became freeze after a heavy transit and the car lost the stopping action. Ford inform me that we need to changes the brake oil but we changed oil, pads, line, rotors, etc and the car remain with the problems. In my case I lost the brake action and had a serious accident.

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 Ford Mustang gt. The contact stated that the engine intake manifold failed. The vehicle was towed to jan ja service center (5771 main street trumbull, ct, 06611 phone: [phone]), but was not repaired. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in the manufacturer's voluntary recall (0s34) for the replacement of the intake manifold. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 125,000.
Vehicle was parked and turned off. Fire started in engine compartment. Witnesses said it sounded like the car was trying to start itself. Total loss. Damage was worst on the passenger side of the engine compartment centered in the area in front of the wheel. Security camera of incident shows smoke then fire starting at the front passenger side.

Takata recall. The drivers side seat belt was replaced under warranty the first time, as it was failing to return to default position properly. The seat belt was replaced a second time, after I was rear ended (it was failing to retract again at the time, identical to the first time I had to have it replaced under warranty), and crushed into the vehicle in front of me. I was at a full stop when the vehicle hit me from behind. That crash deployed both airbags. The front and rear bumpers were replaced due to that crash, along with the seat belt. I have no way of knowing if those two replacement airbags were made by Takata. The seat belt has again become "unsafe" due to it not retracting. I have no way of knowing if the seat belt will function properly if I'm involved in another accident! …
The car in front of me came to the stop and so did I but as I hit my brake something blew up in my face and made me put my arms up and I lost visibility. The weird part is they went off at a rolling stop under 3 MPH .also last week my car brake switch almost started an electrical fire.
