After a few days in garage attempted to drive out where first upon engaging drive selection, releasing brake pedal, and slight throttle, a clunk and jerk launch occurred. With each subsequent wheel rotation there was a scraping sound synchronized with a torque dip in the propulsion. drove 1-2 blocks up street up to ~5 MPH and this symptom followed exact with speed. Stopped car, tried reverse a block, same thing, surging like propulsion with apparent torque dips in sync with speed. Repeated in drive, then reverse a few times, then parked back in garage to be towed into dealer. I put masking tape on steering wheel AND on Windshield saying not to drive over 2MPH to witness the symptoms. Upon receipt at dealer, was told symptom was then repeated, therefore car would be held for a while as it would need to be torn down and analyzed to find the cause. …

I was driving along the road at 35 mph when the vehicle lost power and refused to accelerate or keep speed. The cluster flashed a warning indicating "Stop Safely Now", so I pulled over and came to a stop, and I shifted to P. Thereafter, the vehicle shut off and would not start, continuing to indicate to "Service Vehicle Now", as well as additional new errors, including "Service Powertrain", "Full Accessory Power", "Collision Assist Unavailable", and at least 8 other errors that would not go away. Two red lights were indicated on the cluster - one of them looks like a car with a "!" through it, and the other is a wrench. The vehicle is charged every night to 95% using a Level 2 CCS charger directly to the vehicle's charging port, no adapters. The vehicle had 91% battery remaining when this occurred. …

While I was driving the brakes did not work. I had to slam on the brakes in order to stop the car. The back portion of the car then skid. The following warnings were sent to the phone and appeared on the dashboard as well. There were more on the dashboard but since I was driving I focused on trying to maneuver the car and not reading the dashboard. Not knowing what happened I continued to drive to duplicate the issue. The brakes were consistently only working when slamming on the brakes (and skidding). There was no traffic, allowing us to rely on driving slow speeds and letting the car to come to natural stops. We took it to the dealership immediately who were unable to duplicate. They diagnosed it as a network overload and attempted to release the car back to us. Currently working with a Ford Advocate as a Network Overload will shut our brakes off again. It's just a matter of when. …

The car came to an abrupt stop and wouldn't start up again. This happened three times. First time, I was at a charging station. Second time it happened in middle of the road while driving. It Put the safety of my family and me at danger. I had to call 911 to help manage busy traffic around me and towing service to take the car to dealership/service. The ford service center told me car was fixed - they had the car for 10 days before returning it to me. Two weeks and ~200 miles later the same thing happened yet again. My wife and child were stranded in middle of traffic. I am just thankful they were able to avoid collisions with other vehicles. The car has been back in the ship for another 24days and counting. Online forums indicate that my issue is not isolated. Ford has yet to comment or address my issue directly. …

I have taken my car to the dealership is three different occasions and reported problems with the screens (they go black, even when driving), rear-view image missing, proximity sensor malfunctioning (beeps even when there are no objects or cars around) and the driving assistance system (constantly disengages and reports it, without intervention). Additionally, I've read that the recalls talks about a possible lock-out issue that could put my children well-being at risk and I'm aware of issues with the doors of the vehicle. Despite the multiple reports and trips to the repair department these problems are still present and this last time my car has been retained at the dealership for over a week without any update or ETA for fixing the problem and I'm being told my only option would be get a new car and start my financing all over

Undocumented, programmed power loss at interstate speed. Power purposely and dangerously reduced at speed due, and is even displayed on the dash board with small "gray" bars within the "Power Gauge". The "Power Gauge" indicates power, regeneration and power reduction level. ***There is no reasoning in the Owners Manual explaining the power reduction.*** l only found this after I purchased the car; "When the system limits the available maximum power, the right side of the gauge shows gray lines representing the proportional reduction in available power."

After backing out of the driveway, our Mach-e started accelerating without putting my foot on the accelerator. Car literally was just getting faster and faster without me doing anything. When I did press the accelerator after the stop sign to the entrance to our neighborhood, nothing happened and the car just rolled forward. Took my foot off the right pedal and it started accelerating again. Got out to the main road, had to pull over, and rode the brake back home. In short, the car accelerates without pressing the accelerator.
