MICHELIN LTX A/T 2 Size P275 65 R20 I have a 2014 Ford F250 SRW that I bought new in July 2014. The truck has 30,000 miles on it and 20,000 of it was towing a 5th wheel. The truck sits inside next to the 5th wheel when its not being used. I had the original tires on which had about 50% of the tread left. The rear tires are always inflated to 80 PSI before towing. We had 2 blowouts on the rear tires. The first I started feeling a vibration and thought I had a tire going down. No TPMS warnings. I pulled off and when I got below 45 the vibration stopped. The tires were all up and the tire temps were within 10 degrees of each other. So we continued on when I got back on I-75 south above 50, I started feeling the vibration again. I got over to the middle lane thinking maybe it was a pavement issue. Thats when the passenger rear tire blew. …
December 24th at approximately 1100 hr. Driving normally on the Garden State Parkway Southbound approaching exit 98. The vehicle instantaneously began to shake out of control. I was able to keep the Vehicle in the travel lane and was able to pull over to the shoulder. I Vehicle pulled over to see if I was ok and explained the truck was front tires shaking violently. I did a pulmonary check under the vehicle any everything looked in order. I followed up with a local Mechanic who informed me that this was a common issue with these vehicles that was called the "Ford Death Wobble" and suggested that i take it to a specialist who deals with the suspension. I followed up with R&H Spring and Truck repair, 4806 W Hurley Pond Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719. R&H is familiar with the issue and the Vehicle is currently scheduled to be diagnosed. …
Ford 2013 F250 Death Wobble, it is real! It is scary! It is unpredictable and extremely dangerous. Something in the design of the front end needs to be fixed ASAP. My latest experience with this happened on 7/13/23. The worst death wobble that I have ever experienced happened today on the freeway at full speed (65mph). The first time today, my truck started to violently shake, prompting me to immediately slow down from 65mph to about 30-40mph during my morning commute to work/in traffic. Then, again a minute later, but this time it was seven worst! The death wobble started again at full speed and the front end started shaking uncontrollably and drifted my vehicle from the number 2 lane into the number 1 lane with other cars doing same speed. This violent shaking caught the attention of the other drivers and everyone slowed down, so I could make it into side of the road. …
My 2013 Ford F250 Superduty has the "DEATH WOBBLE" problems with the front steering/suspension. This problem should be fixed before it gets someone killed. My first occurrence happened while I was on US-64 West bound near Raleigh, NC while traveling at ~70mph (the posted speed limit). Narrowly avoid other vehicles while trying to maintain control and get stopped.
Tire size 275/70R 18. I purchased these tires in April of 2020 from Stivers Ford in Birmingham, Al. I have since replaced 4 deflective tires and 2 tires there about to be defective. The major problem with this tire is that 1 of these tires blew out while driving 70mph on I-22 in Graysville, Al exit 87 westbound. This blowout resulted in my truck doing a 720 in the middle of traffic, if I had had a trailer connected to my truck this probably would have resulted in my death and/or others. I have since filed a claim with Continental Tires The Americas Case# 21218001, and sent all of the tires back to them that were defective. Continental Tires claims this was a result of a road hazard condition (6 times??). My vehicle was inspected by Sherrill Auto body and found that there was $5000+ damage that occurred. …
The front suspension randomly shakes when doing speeds above 60 on the freeway. It's very dangerous especially because we almost experienced running into a semi while driving on I-50 between a cement construction wall and the semi. I find it hard to believe that Ford will NOT own up to this. There is clearly a history of this. I simply want my front suspension fixed to meet safety standards.
component= Michelin tire (the tire tread separed from tire) Half of the tread start to hit the vehicle yes discount tire no warning This happened at low speed. If the same happen at High speed the truck can be flipped
The tires were installed on 8.22.2025 and on the following Thursday, August 28, 2025, all of the tires had low pressure. I returned to the Orange City, FL Tire Kingdom per the managers' (Brittany) request and the mechanic filled all of the tires and said that they were not completely filled when they were installed. The following day, Friday, 8/29, I began my return trip to my home in North Carolina. Within a few hours, the driver's side front tire exploded and my truck was on the rim of the tire, swerving into the adjacent lane on I-95. I was able to get the truck off of the highway, onto the nearest exit ramp without being hit. I have never been that close to being killed on the interstate. …
