2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4WD - No interior lighting, No dashboard lighting. The interior lighting and dashboard illumination affects day and evening driving for different reasons. No ability to drive vehicle during evening hours or when there is no natural day lighting. Unable to see the speedometer, gas level indicator and temperature gauges. Exterior lights work, but inside the vehicle it is completely dark. There were no warning lamps or messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to discovery during evening hours due to dashboard not displaying or illuminating the warning lamps during day hours. So if something were to go wrong while driving during the day there is no way of knowing the issue and/or troubleshooting prior to failure. When I turn on my left turn signal, either it wont turn on at all, or the right side turn signal turns on. Also my hazard lights does not work, when I turn on my hazards only the left arrow turns on . Not the right. This is a hazard since if I happen to be on the side of the road at night I need my hazards for other cars to see my vehicle and not hit me. Or when turning I need people to know which way I am going.
TIPM low beams are not working caused by plug haveing no power coming out of TIPM total integrated power module almost causing me to have a accident from not seeing the road I was driveing on .I have lights atm bypassed TIPM with a on /off switch but should really be replaced kinda of a bad engineering on mopar side.and very dangerous.
The air bag light is on and it has a recall the lights behind the gages went out and the engine has a knock at times
I bought the truck 10/29/10 with 22 k miles on it and have 29950K now. I have had to replace the whole front end, rack and pinion steering system tie rod ends, leaky back window, third brake light, balance and rotate tires 3 times, rail dust, new carpet, leaky third light, new rotors and brakes at 24K, air cleaner, wipers. I questioned the front end when I bought it and was told it as just tires out of balance. When I picked it up and asked if the front end looked good because I noticed the front tie rod ends had a lot of play and I was concerned with issues due to that. I was told the front end was fine no problems with it. I later took it back and had all the front steering components replaced. I picked up the vehicle and had no alignment and was told they only set the toe. I had to keep the steering wheel a full half turn to the left to go straight. …

I purchased a Ram 1500, from day one there was problems the passenger door stayed ajar due to bad sensor says dealership leaving interior lights on at all times and would ding everytime I took off from a stop. They said that the cluster was bad so they replaced it with one that read in kilometers instead of MPH. Later they replaced it with a cluster that read in MPH. Transmission grinds gears when put in reverse and jumps when put into drive. Also transmission slips to lower gears when driving throwing me forward into the dash multiple times. Nothing has been successful in repairing the transmission as of yet although they say that they reprogrammed the transmission.
