The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that his son parked the vehicle, and as he disengaged the seat belt and was exiting the vehicle, the air bag headrest inadvertently deployed and hit him on the back of the head. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V640000 (Seats, Air Bags). The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000.
Multiple issues, passenger window is a very common issue, looked on YouTube and found many videos for it was able to jump with direct power to the pigtail using wires and a battery and was able to roll it up but no explanation for why it ends up having this issue, heater core also a consistent issue, it is obvious with passenger side goes cold and 95% of the fix is a new heater core. Headrests popping, had the safety recall done 02chz28 (Recall S61) and never was mentioned or brought up by local dealer, both seatbelts are not functioning properly, passenger side is the worst, locks up and both are running along the plastic causing it to become deformed and wearing on the edges of the belts. Vehicle has obvious replacements on the front but no accident history. Hood is a different vin number and grill is not original from factory. I found the original photo of the car's first sale post. …
driver's seat headrest deployed while I was driving. I cannot put it back in place because some internal plastic parts have broken off. The passenger seatbelt sensor keeps going off as if the passenger has not buckled the seat belt. The sensor on that same seat keeps going off even if there's no one sitting on that seat.
On 6/16/2018, I was involved in a highway accident when traveling south and a deer ran out across from the north side of the highway crashing right into the front drivers side of my vehicle then flew up in the and crashed down right threw my windshield while I was traveling at a rate of speed of 50 MPH. I was severely injured since my seatbelts failed to restrain me and none of my airbags deployed at the time of the accident. However, months after vehicle was repaired following deer collision the airbag spontaneously deployed and I suffered secondary injury. I need some answers on why I wanted notified about the recall before now. I just received the letter regarding recall on the vehicle's airbags and seatbelts two years later! This is unacceptable. I have plenty of photos however need to upload, please contact me. Thank you
I was driving on the freeway when I noticed smoke coming from underneath my hood and the same time my car was loosing power I glanced at my warning lights in which there was no warning indication that my car was hot nor did the engine light appeared. I finally pulled to the side of the freeway almost causing a pileup with a big rig I proceeded to open the hood when I noticed oil throughout the engine I take it to the dealership in which they contacted the warranty dept in which the car was still under warranty.my car sat at the dealership for approximately 60 to 90 days the warranty dept wanted various pic of the engine a dianogstic test was performed the outcome was everything was properly running the dealer ship found a piston ring that came off the piston and a new engine had to be put in that's when the warranty dept denied my claim stating it was my fault because I changed my oil …

"Takata recall" upon starting my vehicle to go to work I noticed that my airbag and seatbelt indicator were both on. I fastened my seatbelt and both indicators still stayed on. I proceeded to drive my vehicle to work and they were still on when I made it to work. When I came out for lunch break and started my vehicle they were off, but they continue to periodically come on and stay on even with both the driver and passenger seatbelts buckled. I called huffines of lewisville and they told me that indicators were probably related to the current recall however they stated they could not repair my vehicle because they have not received the parts from the recall but if I wanted to bring my vehicle in and pay for a diagnostic and the repairs they would be more than happy to repair my vehicle. …
Adjusted the electrical mirror then shortly after adjustment smoke started to roll out from under the buttons of the window controllers and melted them slightly (driver and passenger front window buttons) the vehicle was in motion and then stationary due to we had to exit the vehicle due to be overcome with smoke. We were turning off a highway to a residential street. We then was able to get back into the car when there was little smoke and continue 1/2 mile to the home were staying at. Window's will not roll up or down now. Due to the smoke, I am afraid to drive my vehicle back to michigan from wisconsin in a week. Also, the front passenger seat belt does not lock onto the restraint lock. Why did it not blow a fuse before it started smoking?
