1) intermittently when turning vehicle at slow speeds, there is sudden loss of steering and electric power steering violently bouncing the wheel back to neutral position when attempting to steer left or right. There is also sudden loss of electricity, engine turns off, requiring to shift to park and restart engine. This issue usually occurs after rain or after car wash (water entering shark fin antenna) 2) intermittent complete power loss throughout the vehicle (occurs especially after rain - when shark fin antenna gets filled with water) and feels like battery is suddenly completely dead. Sometimes it can not be jump started immediately, and after more than an hour, it May be jump started. 3) water leaking into the front left corner of roof (driver side) after rain - again due to shark fin anternna leak. …

When traveling at slow speeds, I.e., parking lot or restaurant drive-thru line, and making sharp turns, car stabilitrak warning will flash then loss of power steering and complete loss of power will result. Additionally, the media electronics will shut off and restart periodically. This doesn't necessarily happen at the same time, although, this never happens when I am not having problems with the stabilitrak system. (see previous complaint: 11122704) took car for service at capitol Chevy on 8/30/19. They said no codes were indicated, however, throttle body was dirty and could have an effect on my issue. Throttle body was serviced/cleaned. On sept. 2, 2019 I had issue with media system and stabilitrak. While traveling southbound on I-85, cruise control set approx. 75 MPH, I braked to disengage cruise speed when media system reset. I pulled into my driveway approx. …

When decelerating getting off of the highway 6/6/2020 the vehicle engine revved up on it's own. The message center is saying that the airbags need to be serviced, the air conditioning turns on and off and goes from high to low on it's own , and the power windows in the second row of seating will roll down but can only be rolled up at times by the drivers side window controls. The brake grading system turns on at random times and the tire sensor reading displays are off. The tire sensor readings are the opposite of what they appear to be on the message center (ie. The message center says that the left rear tire is low, but the right rear tire is actually low. Lastly, despite regular timely recommended oil changes one of my lifters in my engine broke off on the way home from work one day last year. …

Engine died on highway lost all power and no steering. Was told by dealer it was a bad neg battery cable. It is shocking that a bad battery cable can cause a deadly situation. Certainly someone will die from this defect if they havent already. Dealer claimed to repair the vehicle and it happened only a few miles after I picked up the vehicle. Error code was p0601. They have the car for repair again, but I refuse to every drive the death trap. I have had 20 suburbans and I hope this is an isolated defect not one that affects all suburbans. This defect is extremely dangerous. Someone will certainly die from this defect.

When driving the vehicle, this mostly occurs on surface streets, the stabilitrak lights will come on and then shut off. The problem has progressed and the lights will now come on and then black out the dashboard. The car has even completely lost power while driving and then come back on. This is quite terrifying! The battery has been replaced and is brand new. The only time the car lost power on the highway was when the car was moving at a slower rate of between 30-50 MPH.
