Just bought a new 2017 black edition. Reg cab short bed. 5.3. Shakes from new over 73+ MPH. Took it to dealer at 648 miles on 01/19/2018. Purchased new 12/28/2017. They rebalanced all 4 wheels. Still shakes. They put a new driveshaft in and said it was fixed. I picked it up today. Nope. It's worse. Now it begins shake no at 60 and at 74-75 has a pretty dramatic shake. This happens while driving on the interstate. Now I go back again Monday to let them have another go at it.this is a brand new truck.
I bought my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on October 2017. Not even one month after purchased I had to bring back the vehicle due to loud clunking noises and jerking. I had to bring the truck in at least 3-4 times a year due to the same problem.
October 31, 2014 on my home from work I heard a bang. The truck pulled very hard to the left taking me into the concrete barrier that divides the highway. Vehicle was in motion us highway 41/45 65 MPH. After the truck was investigated at the dealer to give an estimate on the damage it was discovered the left rear axel was broken. Questioning the dealer about this issue and not getting anywhere I talked to different mechanics that I know after a week or so it was discovered there was a recal for insuffcient heat treated rear axles talking to the dealer and I was told this did not pertain to my vehicle as the recall was taken care of at the factory. I cantacted Chevrolet and was told that because I had given the OK for the dealer to make the repairs. My insurance company would need to fole paper work against Chevrolet which myself I believe is wrong . …

On Friday May 23, 2014, I was backing an empty boat trailer down my private boat launch with my new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup. When I put the transmission into reverse with my foot on the brake the engine suddenly revved up, started spinning wheels, and shot down the ramp hitting three bulkhead pilings eight feet apart, finally wedging the truck into the last piling and stopping before going into the water. The incident lasted less than five seconds and my foot never left the brake as witnessed by a third party verifying the brake lights never went off. I feel obligated to report this to both Chevrolet and the national highway traffic safety administration. Had this occurred in a public parking area, serious injuries and damage to other vehicles could have resulted. …
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving approximately 25 MPH, the rear of the vehicle vibrated without warning. Here is a brief history of the issues involving the 1012 Chevrolet Silverado lt texas edition after the purchase date of September 3, 2012. First, I noticed that it has increasingly become more difficult to open the front passenger window from the driver side master control unit around 2014. Now, I have to press hard several times to open the window. Second, the outside moldings of the door panels are falling off starting in mid-2014. Third, I have started to hear popping noises coming from the ball joints when the steering wheel is turned to the left or right at a very low speed starting the beginning of 2014. These issues were reported to the Chevrolet customer service at the GM headquarters in August 2015. On September 4, 2015, the truck was finally diagnosed by the Chevrolet dealership service department that sold the pickup. …
