I have a 2018 Cruze that I was driving on a 4 lane highway on top of a mountain, the brakes went out with me and my 6 month old in car, I was able to get to shoulder, towed to Chevy, they said it was a faulty brake pump, and charged me 500 to fix it. Then less than 2 weeks later, same mountain, same thing, towed to the same Chevy, they said that the replacement pump had exploded and it was caused by engine piston issues, and want 5 grand to fix it. I believe that Chevy broke the car the first time and besides the fact, exploding brake pumps, 2 in a row is very scary. Luckily me and my child are still alive to be complaining about it, but we seriously came very close to being killed by these faulty brakes twice. …
I backed out of my icy driveway and onto the clear, dry road. Set my cruise control to 48mph and after about 30 seconds, my traction control and service engine lights came on with an error message that said "service stabilitrak" and my cruise control turned off. I closed the stabilitrak message, the traction control light turned off after about 30 seconds, and the service engine light turned off shortly after. But my cruise control still wont engage. I've turned the vehicle off and on and it still isnt working. It seems that a lot of different GM vehicles have experienced this problem, and the dealership has fixed it in several different ways. I read on a forum that someone had the issue and the GM dealership said there was an issue with the amount of ethanol in the gasoline. I happened to have filled up my tank the night before with regular unleaded from my local speedway. …
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hesitated and was slow to accelerate. The stabili-trak control warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was slow to respond while driving uphill. There was an abnormal popping sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuel injector needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the coil pack, turbo boost, spark plugs, an oil change, ABS, brake booster, and air flow sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the failure was due to the low turbo boost. …

I was in a crash on July 27,2020,pm hours.I was driving straight on interstate,it began raining,I slowed down & adjusted traction control/stability control setting.the car veered to the right for some reason,I got car back in straight motion, then in a split second,it shot to the left of the road way.I tried gaining control,to get back in the correct lane, and the car ran into the guardrail in trying to get control of it. I do not think that the rate of speed, nor weather, were the only reasons for this accident. Prior to this crash, months before,at various times, and and for no reason, the service power steering,at times the service traction control, and at times the service stability message would appear, only for a split couple of seconds,at random times. The check engine light was on,and a prior certified mechanic diagnosed it as bank 1 catalyct concerter clogged. …
I just purchased this car and several times while I'm driving on the freeway the radio shuts of then turns back on numerous times. Then I usually get a stability's error message. Then the best part. The power steering will completely go out while changing lanes or in mid turn. I have been driving through a round about and also while making sharp turns to get on and off the freeway. This is so dangerous! I see that so many people are reporting the same exact problem! Something needs to be done about this! I called OnStar 3 times in one trip. First it disconnects because all electrical components shut off, then they actually told me I have to wait to call them back while I am losing my steering. Only to conclude they can only help after I am in an accident. When this is not going on the car runs great and I love it so it is obviously some kind of manufacture defect.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 MPH, the "Service Stabili-trak" message was displayed. The warning light turned on and off, and the vehicle suddenly stalled. The vehicle failed to restart. The contact stated that the vehicle started jerking and rolling while on the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
Car is in for service for 3rd time -- intermittent electrical problem causing loss of transmission (I.e. Revs then drops in and out of gear); driver display warnings include service stabilitrak, service power steering, service transmission. Power door locks also operate on their own. Instrument cluster gauges will drop towards their off position, then resume normal position during these events. If the car is shut off, sometimes a "no start" condition will occur when the key is turned to the start position, gauges will operate normal even with no start condition. After rapidly cycling the key off/on/start position for sometimes up to 30 times, car has always eventually started. Sometimes condition has cleared, other times transmission is stuck in a gear (3rd for previous dealership visit, 4th for current visit) but not in a limp home mode as full engine power is available. …
