Car is in for service for 3rd time -- intermittent electrical problem causing loss of transmission (I.e. Revs then drops in and out of gear); driver display warnings include service stabilitrak, service power steering, service transmission. Power door locks also operate on their own. Instrument cluster gauges will drop towards their off position, then resume normal position during these events. If the car is shut off, sometimes a "no start" condition will occur when the key is turned to the start position, gauges will operate normal even with no start condition. After rapidly cycling the key off/on/start position for sometimes up to 30 times, car has always eventually started. Sometimes condition has cleared, other times transmission is stuck in a gear (3rd for previous dealership visit, 4th for current visit) but not in a limp home mode as full engine power is available. …

I was crossing a highway when my 2015 Chevy Cruze started to shake violently and experienced a loss in power, the engine warning light was then displayed across my dash, I managed to limp it home and then took it to the mechanics the next day. The mechanics checked the codes and found that, a engine misfire was detected, the fuel injector control mod was not available, or there was a communication problem, the electronic brake control lost communication with the engine control module, the digital radio receiver controller was not available, or was experiencing a communication problem, and the instrument control panel was displaying failures in ambient air temperature sensor circuit, and lost communication with the HVAC control module. …

I got my Chevy Cruze less than 3 years ago. On Tuesday my car turn on the engine light. When I was driving my car started shaking, linking and smoking in the middle of the hwy. I went to the leader on Thursday because I got scared. Denny told I cannot drive my car like that for my safety. I left my car in the leadership. It's being 4 days without answer. My car have full guaranteed and they offered me a courtesy car. So there me without answers and not car. I went to the leader and denny answer it that they don't know when the car going to be fix, but that if I want I can take the car with me. I just can believe no one care about the customer safety. He told me I couldn't drive my car like that now he doesn't care if I get into an accident with a car that shouldn't be drive. They just want me to apply for a new car. When I don't need a new car. I feel my car is still new. …

Chevy Cruze battery cable recall - sb-10057574-8899 "on certain 2011'2015 model year Chevrolet Cruze vehicles, the negative battery cable terminal clamp May have an insufficient crimp at the battery negative terminal. While driving & in stopped position at light the radio will intermittently turn off & back on at any given moment. I just purchased the vehicle not even 1 1/2 mos. Ago. This has been happening approximately once or twice every week for about 4 weeks now.I have tried to look for some solution to this & have researched but there had been vague information or no answer at all . I have noticed that it has been an ongoing situation that had been indicated in here but has there's been any resolution to the matter? I don't think I should have to be concerned with this whole either driving or at a stop light that the electrical system will go out, if any at all. I hope some kind of resolution or recall will be done for this, too me, a major problem.

Driving my 2015 Chevy Cruze ltz rs on a road trip my check engine light came on due to a o2 sensor which is no big deal, planned on replacing. But the next morning the service traction control came on and after doing research on this a lot of people have had this same thing happen to them. Some say a faulty ground wire on the battery and others say they had to replace a bunch of sensors on the car. It seems to not be running smoothly and don't want to change a bunch of sensors and cables unnecessarily if GM knows about this problem and it seems like a manufacturer defect. There should be some kind of recall on at least the ground wire if that is the problem.

My dashboard lights begin flashing, the radio turns off, the blinker sound stops working, the antilock brake system, service traction system, service stabilitrac and steering vehicle messages flash on the dashboard. I saw this issue reported in a GM bulletin https://static.NHTSA.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/sb-10057574-8899.pdf but my dealership said my car isn't affected even though it is that year, make, and model and the same exact things are happening. It happens when I am driving, it started off once or twice a trip, now it is constantly happening so much so I cannot even listen to music. It seems to happen more often when I am in stop/go traffic.

Check engine light came on 11/05 and that afternoon the car started to idle hard and sputter when stopped. The error codes read for a maf sensor; had that and the engine air filter replaced, and the car still sputtered but the light went out. I purcjased the car in 2015, it had 2300 miles at the time, and would make noticeable engine noise soon after. I took it back but the dealership mechanics said that it was a sensor and not to worry until the check engine light came on; they were talking about the the maf. On 11/12/2019, the light is on again. Also, the stabillitrak light comes on/off.

The front crank shaft seal is bad. It makes the engine make a very loud chirping noise when it warms up. If you pull the oil dipstick out it stops. I've had to keep my dipstick out so that it doesn't chirp. It's causing other issues with car. Like stability control, fuel mileage and having to change oil more often. I've been trying to get it fixed but haven't been able to. I'm afraid that it is damaging the engine more than necessary. From what I've learned Chevy is aware that this is an issue with the Cruze. But no recall has been issued to fix this. Service bulletin p11297b, 2-2015
