I am an owner of a 2013 Chevy Avalanche and must say that i enjoy driving this vehicle. The problem that i have is the vehicle has been going into Engine Power Reduced Mode. This mode makes the vehicle hard to accelerate to highway speeds. The vehicle will have a code of P2128 or P2138 which is an accelator pedel ciruit problem. I changed the acceleator pedal and did not solve the problem. I changed out the Throttle Body Sensor and still the problem remains. On the dashboard it will show Check Engine Light on, Service Stablinktrac light on, and Service Traction Control Light on. I have seen other vehicle owners experience the same problems with their vehicles and told that there was no recall and have to pay for the repairs out of pocket. These are very well made vehicles but when they going into Engine Power Reduced Mode, drive ability is diminished.

In October of 2020, my avalanche only would start in winter after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. It was also on numerous occasions go into limp mode while driving at normal city speeds meaning it wouldn't go above 25 miles an hour. The entire dash would light up. It threw numerous codes. Had to be towed to get it looked at but then would mysteriously start without issue. I took it to young Buick gmc in Layton Utah with no resolution. Finally in December 2020 it was determined by now Heritage Chevrolet in Evanston Wyoming to be the Onstar module. This part was no longer available and couldn't be replaced. The dealership's solution was to wire around the faulty part which has allowed the truck to start and no longer go into limp mode from 70mph on highway to 20mph without notice. …
Asking if anyone knows about the 2010 Chevy Avalanche and the ECM problems that alot of people are having , the check engine light came on and the display showed reduced engine power, service traction control, and service stabilitrak. It would not go in gear , nor would it start , this had happened to the truck three times now , the first time it would not go into gear and it stopped and would not start at all , so I took the negative battery cable off for 30 minute and it fixed it . The second time all the light and buzzers went off , I had lack of power and the check engine light came on and the display showed reduced engine power, service traction control, and service stabilitrak while I was driving it so I took it home , I was lucky that I didn't get in a wreck because it dropped drastically in speed all at once , again I took of the cable , and went to have the diagnostic reading …
Cracked, broken dashboard. Cracked in 2 corners of the passenger air bag. Crack goes all the way across to the drivers side. A section around the speaker has completely broke off. Cruise control no longer workers. Some speakers work sometimes, other times other ones work. Makes horrible rattling sound. Dealership says won't cover it and a new dash is over $800 for parts.
On 10/13/2015 I took my Avalanche to galles Chevrolet , albuquerque, nm for repair of a cracked instrument cluster and faulty l/r door lock actuator. I picked it up on 10/15/2015. While parking the truck on 10/17/2015 I shut off the engine and suddenly there was no power to lock the locks with the key fob. It was as if the battery I had had replaced new about 6 weeks prior suddenly went dead. Then I heard a clicking noise in the doors/lock actuators and suddenly the battery power was restored. I next experienced this problem while driving on new Mexico hwy 485 on 10/25/2015 only worse. While driving for about 10 miles at speeds of between 35-50 MPH the door lock actuators locked and unlocked the doors numerous times, the airbag, stabilatrac, and ABS sensor alarms kept activating and the cruise control suddenly disengaged many times again while driving. …
