11/6/21: Mid way home from a trip from Washington to Connecticut on the New Jersey turnpike in the left-hand lane the car lost all ability to accelerate. Concurrently the engine like came on and multiple warning signals came on regarding traction control, breaking, and steering. One can imagine how unsettling that could be but at that moment. Being in the left lane it was apparent I needed to get off the road. With cars traveling at 65+ mph and my car decelerating continuously changing lanes was nearly catastrophic and the last lane I needed to move over to nearly resulted in a multi car accident 11/8/2021 I was contacted by the service manager at the towed to acura dealer. They informed me that the evaluation determined a need for an "intercooler" This breakdown of my car with less than 20,000 miles on it was under warranty . …
We experienced loss of power in heavy interstate traffic. We had been driving in the rain for some time on I-10 in Florida. We were in the right lane behind a vehicle that was traveling much slower than other vehicles. There was a gap in vehicles in the left lane so I signaled and pressed the gas pedal significantly so I could quickly get up to a matching speed for the left-lane vehicles. At this point the engine stumbled a couple of times and the Check Engine light began flashing. No matter how hard I pressed the gas pedal, my vehicle would not accelerate. Cars behind us had to brake quickly to avoid hitting us from behind. I turned on my emergency flashers and made my way to the right-side breakdown lane. After stopping, I turned our vehicle off and restarted the engine. No warning lights were lit and I was able to resume our drive. …
My 2020 Acura RDX is currently non-operational due to a failure of the fuel pump, which is the subject of NHTSA Recall 23V-858. The vehicle suffered a complete loss of power and will not start, posing a significant safety risk should this have occurred while in motion. Despite contacting Acura Client Relations over 30 days ago, no remedy has been provided. My Case Manager states they are unable to offer a solution other than waiting for a "Territory Manager" to make contact-an event that has yet to occur. My vehicle has now been completely disabled for over two weeks. Because I reside in the [redacted] , the manufacturer claims they cannot service the vehicle due to a lack of a local franchise dealership. However, as a [redacted] territory, federal safety mandates apply. …
On a long road trip ([redacted]) from Milwaukee, Wi to Bowling Green, Ky. and from From Bowling Green, KY to Orlando, FL. While driving from Bowling Green, KY about 8 hours into the drive, we were in a massive rain storm which started in Atlanta, GA. and did not end until we crossed into Florida. About 60 miles past the border of Florida traveling on [redacted], I needed to over-ride the cruise control traveling at about 80 mph and allow for a merging vehicle, so I pressed hard on the accelerator and the vehicle essentially shut off and the MIL was flashing. I was in the left lane (two lane highway at this point) traffic was moving quickly, but fortunately I was able to merge safely across traffic to the right shoulder without causing an accident because the vehicle was slowing at a rapid rate. The vehicle came to a stop on the shoulder with my wife and two kids freaking out. …

It was raining and I was accelerating hard to pass a slow vehicle when the engine malfunction light started blinking and I lost power and could no longer accelerate. I had to pull over into an empty driveway. Had I not been able to pull over into a driveway, I would have been stuck on a 2 lane road with a 55 mph speed limit and no way to get the car completely off the road, endangering myself, any passengers, and others traveling the road. The car has only 28,000 miles on it and is at the dealership right now being inspected. The only warning light turned on when the problem started, blinked a few times, and then turned itself off, but I still had no acceleration and could not get the car above 10 mph.
