On August 18th, I was driving my husband's 2015 Toyota Venza. I ordinarily do not drive it as the vehicle has a surging forward problem. When you take your food off the gas pedal, the vehicle surges forward which one can compensate by quickly hitting the brake pedal. My husband has gotten used to the car doing this so it does not bother him. On this particular day, I was driving along a 2-lane road on a somewhat main road with some businesses on either side and I was driving about 35 MPH. We were approaching a popular ice cream plaza when I saw the vehicles up ahead stopping as one of the cars was waiting to cross over to the ice cream shop. I took my foot off of the gas pedal but the car surged forward at a faster speed. …
I was approaching a stop sign at the corner or church and main streets in chester, vermont at less than 10 MPH the car surged forward and would not stop. I t-boned a car coming down main street and the car continued to surge across the road. This is a surging problem that Toyota is fully aware of.
My brakes failed at a low speed at a mcdonalds and I hit a car in front of me. My son and grandaugher were in the car with me. I couldn't get the car to stop no matter how much I pushed on the brakes. My wife called toyato but was told to drive the car to a dealership. We are afraid to drive the car it would seem to be dangerous to do so.this is are only car. Doesn't seem to be any urgency on toyatos part. Any help to resolve this situation before some has to die.

Major brake problem ; we were saved miraculously I have a Toyota Venza 2011 and I am the only owner ; the car drives smooth , however with major brakes issue My brakes and rotors are still in good condition, however; twice in the highway I wanted to slow down and the brakes don't work , I freak out and my steering wheel looses control and almost hit cars but after a couple minutes it works The worst one was a couple days ago ; was driving at 30 miles an hour trying yo drop off my daughter for her game , hit the curb , brakes completely Lost Control and the car won't stop We panicked the car luckily kept going in the direction of the parking lot and I chose to go through bushes to stop the car and put the emergency brake ; the car after a few horror minutes stopped If the car merged a little bit outside the parking lot there is fast traffic and a lake right after I had the car towed …
Car was slowly pulling into a parking spot, when all of a sudden it revved its engine and accelarated. My foot was on the brake and it would not stop. The revving noise was loud. I hit a large tree that was luckily at the end of the parking spot. The tree is what stopped the car. When the car stopped, I looked and saw was in drive. I was able to put in reverse and back up and park safely. I shut the car off immediately.
