I am 99% sure my vehicle is compromised via a cybersecurity incident. My emergency brake will sometimes slam for no reason, no multi media system updates have occurred for over two years, and the vehicle will randomly beep on its own, unlocking the doors. Another major issue is a recent electric harness failure that the mechanics have no idea how it happened. It cost me over 8,000. Warning lights also turn on for no apparent reason such as parking, sensors, and other traction control. I am extremely concerned with my safety. I also believe the odometer has been altered to register higher mileage.

While driving during rush hour on a 7 lane roadway (600 block South FM 157, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas 76040) on 07/19/2022 the vehicle's engine turned off. Engine and power steering were inoperable, causing me to be stuck in the left lane of traffic. Numerous warning lights and messages appeared. Truck would attempt to start, but would not. I am a police officer in Euless, Texas and called our wrecker service and police department to provide traffic control until the vehicle could be towed from the roadway. I was nearly struck by several vehicles while waiting for assistance. Toyota was contacted and their wrecker arrived approx. 2 hours later at the Euless Police Dept. to pick up my vehicle and tow it to Toyota of Denton (TX). Toyota of Denton has the truck, claiming an "ECU" computer failure. …

I'm writing to report a driver's-door lock malfunction on my 2022 Toyota Tundra and to request goodwill assistance (reimbursement or no-charge repair). VIN: [redacted] Mileage: 38,575 miles Concern: The driver's door does not lock/unlock using the key fob or interior switch. Manual locking still works. Other doors operate normally. Safety/security impact: The vehicle cannot be reliably secured and the condition may leave the vehicle vulnerable when parked. Troubleshooting performed: Verified other doors work; checked fuses; inspected door-to-body wiring boot; issue appears isolated to the driver-side door lock actuator/latch. Requested resolution: Goodwill coverage for diagnosis and repair (or reimbursement if I proceed with repair now), including parts and labor for the driver-door lock actuator/latch assembly. …

Front Active Spoiler Malfunction Last week I took the vehicle into Toyota due to this malfunction message on the vehicle. The spoiler failed and remained in the down position, unknowingly causing additional damage to the spoiler flap. It was determined that the motor assembly was not working and needed to be replaced. The motor, flap and related assemblies were replaced under warranty by the dealership on 07/17/2025. Within 2 days, the spoiler was stuck in the down position again, this time without the malfunction message on the vehicle. With this being stuck in the down position, it can potentially cause more damage to the vehicle being in the down position and lead to debris in the roadway depending on the damage. Toyota manual states to avoid driving the vehicle at high speeds when this issue is present. …

I could only select a certain amount of descriptions. 2021 tacoma had issues of a vibration in the left front or right front wheel/suspension and I have the same feeling in the 2022 tundra, (2) airflow shutters code with engine light came on, (apparently they fixed it or reset the system) (3) brakes starting to squeak at 9k/10k miles (4) transmission slipping at 9k/10k miles (5) inop reverse camera and screen goes blank or white out for good period of time (6) heat from outside temperature throws codes for collision/brake codes light come on possibly turning them off (7) automatic emergency braking sensors or radar tech brakes hard at stoplights when a car is in front of me when green light is on to go, is too sensitive and it slams on the brakes jerking my neck/head forward and other passengers in vehicle not including the people behind me, slamming on their brakes

Water is leaking into the cab of my 2022 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4x4 through the high-mounted third brake light. The leak allows water to enter the headliner and interior, creating the potential for mold, damage to the interior, and electrical issues. After troubleshooting, the third brake light gasket appears to be the source of the leak. Toyota does not appear to offer the gasket as a replacement part, requiring owners to replace the entire third brake light assembly despite the failure being limited to the seal. Numerous owners have reported similar water intrusion issues on 2022+ Tundras, suggesting this may be a common defect rather than an isolated incident. I believe Toyota should investigate the failed gasket design and consider a recall or service campaign to replace the defective seal or assembly.

I did a software update when it pops up on my LCD screen. Then the screen turns black and multiple sensors came on. LTA sensor Brake fail sensor crash senor and more. I look online and found out it has a apple car play issue that cause sensor to malfunction. I don't know if my truck is safe to drive. Afraid the airbag will blow up because of the crash sensor popping up and the failure brake senor also popping up. I took it took my local Toyota Dealer Sandia Toyota they didn't even look at it and made false accusations and try to charge me when my truck at 20000 miles. I took it to another dealer to get it fix. The incident started 4/6/2024 and today is 4/23/24 and I still have no truck to drive. I paid 70k for it but more concern for other. Please look into this issue making sure it safe for me and other.

I have a 2022 Tundra that I purchased new. My current mileage is 18,500 and although my truck is part of the engine replacement recall that is not what I am complaining about, what I am complaining about is my front passenger window got stuck halfway open/closed and it's been sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks with no parts available to fix it (the cable snapped and motor burned out). They did put me in a rental (tacoma) but they have no idea when the parts will be available to fix my window! This is my 4th Tundra and never had an issue like this with any of my others. I've already called Toyota and they have no idea when parts will be available either. They also said they have no parts to fix the temporary fuel line recall which has been out for almost 1 year.
