After another driver failed to yield right-of-way, I experience a fault with the automated driving assist system which during a merge of two highways in california; and failure of road structures allowed an older passenger truck to hit the Toyota's driver's rear tire and wheel well at a high rate of speed without evasive, defensive or warning from the 2020 Corolla hybrid's

Car has several issues, one is definitely the vehicle warning lights in dash, the warning lights pop up at different times for no reason occasionally and dealers can't find issues, car also has issues with braking system. Several times went around curves it on stops and car locked up and went sideways, dealer said tested but less than a mile put on car?? Car does not act like it has normal ABS and almost got in several accidents with my kids and grandson because of it my stopping or locking up!! Also have issues since I bought it with radio/features/display. Things show up half way or it turns off at times and also calls out even when untouched. Worried about GPS cutting out when needed too. Also plastic part under passaged side glove box continuously falls off, took to dealer and they just put back in, didn't replace but you could see the bend where hook was. …
I was involved in a car accident on 2/20/2020 my vehicle was in motion. I felt my 2016 Toyota Corolla lose traction on the road and start to slip. My traction control light never came on and I never felt it engage. I hydroplaned, my car hit a guardrail head on, my seat belt did not tighten which caused me to hit my head and chest on the steering wheel and dash as well as injuries to my neck from being slung forward. My vehicle continued to impact the guardrail. My air bags didn't deploy which also caused me to hit my head and shoulder hard on the driver window/door. Upon the multiple impacts and despite sensors being struck, my air bags failed to deploy throughout my vehicle and my seat belt failed to tighten. Causing injury to different areas of my body.
Noted over head light by the back seat making a electrical static noise while the car was running on a city street and was about to make a right turn suddenly the engine died, steering wheel became stiffed not able to manuever, EPS light came out battery was fully charge for some reason still draining the power down to 9.6 volts from 12volts. Please see attached photo per my mechanic same problem from Toyota yaris 2005. This part is called the electric power actuator for electric power steering. Electrical system which on the board (green color)has malfunction causing the EPS or steering wheel becoming stiff and battery to drained. When car is running and accidentally run over something like hump or any debris the malfunction will start. This is what happenned to me when I was about to turn right theres a hump.this part cost a lot and hopefully Toyota will enlighthen with this problem. …
I have difficulty when locking/unlocking my vehicle with my remote key fob and main look system from all doors of the vehicle. When the lock/unlock button is pushed on the vehicle's two front doors the driver's side door does not lock with the other doors on the vehicle. The driver side door is the only door that malfunctions all other doors operate efficiently. This locking malfunction occurs when the vehicle is parked. The driver's door can be locked manually by pushing the lock inwards or using the car key to manually lock/unlock the door. Please investigate this issue as the vehicle's locking system is a primary concern for the safety of the vehicle, the vehicle's owner, and the owner's property inside the vehicle. My vehicle is approximately 4 years old. I have also spoken with other Toyota Corolla owners (including year models of 2014 and 2015) who complain of the same issues.
The issue started with the battery terminals growing a lot of corrosion. Had to be cleaned off and sprayed with cleaner and lubricant every couple of months. Then as I turn the key in the ignition, the car will sputter before starting. When the car is on, the steering wheel is stiff and immovable for the first minute or so. I can't turn the wheel. It loosens up as you drive. It will randomly get a bit stiff when driving on the highway. Typical speeds of 45mph or faster.
