The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated that while the vehicle was turned off and unoccupied, another vehicle crashed into the vehicle. The contact stated that the front bumper was damaged in the crash. The vehicle was inspected by the insurance company for a claim and was taken to a service center for repairs. The contact stated that the front bumper was replaced. The vehicle was parked at the residence, and the contact became aware that the front driver's side of the bumper had popped out and nearly detached. The contact expressed concerns that the bumper might have been improperly manufactured or installed. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.
The front bumper on my 2025 Toyota Camry continues to shift and separate after driving, despite being repaired twice following a low-impact collision in which another vehicle backed into me. This issue has persisted even after two separate body shops (including a State Farm in-network provider) performed repairs. A third attempt is underway, but the problem remains unresolved. Additionally, my Parking Collision Warning system does not give any audible alerts when reversing or approaching objects, even though this feature is standard on my vehicle. I believe the malfunction may be tied to the bumper's instability or misalignment, potentially affecting sensor function. The issue has not triggered any warning lights or error messages. …
The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the paint on the vehicle was damaged during production. When the vehicle was transported, the contact noticed that the paint had spots. The dealer was unable to repair the vehicle since the damage occurred during production. The dealer replaced the vehicle with another 2025 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that when the vehicle had the windows tinted, the employee noticed that the front bumper was loose and was pushed back into place. However, the failure persisted. The bumper was pushed back into place several times, but the failure recurred, and the contact was informed that the mounting tabs in the bumper were weak. The driver's side brackets and the bumper were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the front bumper was not aligned and was still loose. …
The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed water dripping on his left hand and noticed water dripping from the driver's side of the windshield. In addition, the leaking water had entered the driver's side air bag pillar. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with an unwelded front windshield seam. The contact was informed that the front windshield seam needed to be welded. The vehicle was being repaired. The contact was informed that the failure was due to a manufacturing error. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 350.
The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the front fascia separated from the body of the vehicle. The contact attempted to push the front fascia back into place, but the part failed to remain in place. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that front fascia clips had failed and there was no physical damage seen. The failure mileage was approximately 9,700.
I am reporting a recurring issue with the front bumper misalignment on my 2025 Toyota Camry, which may indicate a widespread manufacturing defect. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle from Toyota Direct March 2025, I noticed that the front bumper was visibly misaligned, with uneven gaps near the headlights and fender panels. On June 9, 2025, the dealership replaced the front bumper with an OEM part. However, the new bumper still does not fit properly and continues to protrude and separate at the corners creating the potential for the bumper to become loose during operation. This affects both the appearance, aerodynamic integrity of the vehicle and an potential for accident. Multiple attempts at repair have failed to resolve the issue. After researching, I found numerous reports from other 2025 Camry owners experiencing the same bumper misalignment. …
Front Bumper Fitment Issue: The front bumper clips fail to secure the bumper properly, causing a noticeable gap between the bumper and the body, particularly around the headlight and fender. Despite visiting my local dealer today (10-11-2025), they have confirmed that this is a known issue, but no permanent solution has been provided. The bumper misalignment negatively impacts the aesthetic quality and structural integrity of the vehicle. This problem has been reported by multiple 2025 Camry owners and persists even after the bumper is replaced. It is evident upon delivery and has not been fixed by Toyota or the dealership to date. Rear Seatbelt Warning Malfunction: I experienced a malfunction with the rear seatbelt warning system. …
I am reporting a recurring safety defect involving the front bumper assembly on my brand-new Toyota Camry Hybrid. The front bumper repeatedly detaches, separates, and pulls away from the vehicle during normal driving conditions. This has occurred multiple times despite repeated repair attempts by the authorized Toyota dealership. Toyota and the dealership have acknowledged that this is a known issue affecting other vehicles and have admitted that there is currently no permanent repair remedy available. Despite this, the defect has been misclassified as "cosmetic," which is inaccurate and unsafe. The bumper is a critical safety component designed to absorb and distribute crash forces. A bumper that is already detached or partially unsecured compromises crash force pathways and reduces occupant protection in the event of a collision. …
I wanted to share my recent experience with Toyota regarding my brand-new Camry. The front bumper on my new vehicle is coming loose. After speaking with my dealership and Toyota corporate, I was informed that this is a known issue affecting some Camrys. I was also told similar concerns have been seen on other Toyota 4Runners (this came from a Toyota service advisor, "The 4Runners are even worse!"). What surprised me most was Toyota's position. Although the issue is known, Toyota currently has no authorized repair available for dealerships to perform under warranty. The recommendation was essentially to wait until Toyota develops an official remedy or issues a recall and they were closing my case for now; this is when the Toyota representative was getting defensive. As a customer, that's difficult to accept. …
I brought this car in recently for a Toyota recall back in late September of this year. After getting the car back, I noticed that the left front bumper cover was separted from the car near the headlight. On 10/2, I returned the car to the dealership to have this looked at and they said it was repaired. After getting home, the bumper cover had separated again. I went back to the dealership on 10/6 and, after sitting for two hours, the repair consultant came back to say they couldn't fix it and I would need to go to the collison center for repair. The manager is always busy when I call and the admin person arranged a time for me to bring car in to have it assessed. I filed a complaint with Toyota and will hear back from them this Thursday. I'm afraid that when they fixed the recall they may have loosened the bumper cover as I've done nothing to make to loose from my end. …
