I was sideswiped by another vehicle which just joined our direction of traffic coming out of a cutout. As soon as I saw the vehicle moving fast from inside the cutout to join our direction and into my lane, I immediately decided to move to the lane next to me. I was at the leftmost lane at the time. Halfway into the lane I just felt the violent impact of the other vehicle hitting us. My wife and I were shaken so bad, we were shocked and terrified at what just happened and what else might happen to us. I felt like we were travelling on the front wheels with our rear end up in the air. Next thing we knew, the car stopped in front of a tree. Our iphones and the our car's phone called 911. We were pulled out of the car and taken immediately into an ambulance and Orange Global Hospital, where we stayed for about 2 days. X rays, CT Scan and MRI were taken. …
The contact owns a 2022 Tesla Model Y equipped with Michelin Tires, Tire Line: Michelin Pilot Sport, Tire Size: 255/35/ZR21, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, the rear driver's side tire experienced a blowout. The contact was able to safely pull off the roadway and wait for towing assistance. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was towed to American Depot Tires. The contact stated that all four tires were replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the inner tread of the front tires were prematurely worn, and the vehicle required an alignment every three months instead of every six months. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer and have the vehicle repaired out of pocket. The failure mileage was approximately 99,482.

Tesla Collison Center Denver - returned vehicle with bent wheel after an accident They refuse to repair despite safety risk They are now Blocking my access to service of fixing my car for unrelated issues as well. This bent wheel may result in an unsafe vehicle on the road
GOODYEAR TIRE, 255/40R20 101W XL I have had to replace 5 tires on my Tesla in 13 months. 3 were from nails, one was from running over a pothole and one was flat from an unknown cause. I have been told by multiple people in the car maintenance field that the tires are not appropriate for the weight of the vehicle therefore are far more prone to imbedded nails and other spontaneous road hazards. I only do basic city driving and avoid industrial/construction zones when able. Also, 2 out of the 5 times I have had a tire with low pressure, the vehicle has indicated the wrong tire. For example, the most recent incident showed my tire pressure at 23 in the front driverside tire, when checked manually the pressure was reading 45 psi in that tire. Went to Tesla and they confirmed the sensor needed to be replaced and made an appointment to have that fixed in 2 weeks when they were available. …
My Tesla model Y performance 2022 was purchased on September 26, 2022. I found that the left rear wheel was leaking in July 2023. After other tire repair shops failed to find the cause of the leak, I went to the Alhambra Tesla service center for further inspection. They found that my wheels rims had cracks that caused the tire to leak very slowly. These cracks are invisible to the naked eye (I still have this wheel rim at home). During my negotiation with this Tesla service center, they told me that it was my use that caused the wheels rims to crack, and they would not be responsible for the wheels rims. I disagreed with their decision and bought a new WHEEL RIM at my own expense. I use this car for work. I have never driven this car for strenuous exercise or to steep mountains. This is my vehicle usage scenario. In February 2024, the same situation occurred on my right rear wheel. …
I initially brought my car in for a weird clicking noise. This noise went away after the car was towed to the Service Center. During service at Tesla Service Center in LA on August 04, 2025, technicians identified structural deformation of the left-hand rear subframe toe link mounting side wall. This deformation prevents proper alignment of the suspension bolt and makes a 4-wheel alignment impossible. Tesla refused warranty coverage, claiming "impact damage," citing only cosmetic wheel rim scrape as evidence. However: 1. Torque paint marks remain intact, proving the bolt has not shifted since factory assembly. 2. No collateral suspension damage (control arms, bushings, underbody) was found, which would normally occur if an impact strong enough to bend a subframe ear had happened. 3. …
"I have a Tesla Model Y that experienced what looks like a steering malfunction, with documented data and repair records already in hand. "While driving our 2024 Tesla Model Y when the steering wheel suddenly turned itself, hard left, and driver couldn't regain control. The car went up a hillside, between a utility/ electricity pole and an electrical box, coming to a stop just inches from the pole. No injury, but real vehicle damage." "I pulled Tesla's own vehicle data log for that exact moment. It shows the steering angle went from +362 to -358 - basically two full wheel rotations - in about 1.5 seconds, while the torque sensor barely registered any force. Then the wheel stayed pinned at full-left lock for about 8 seconds while the car was actively accelerating in Drive." There was a fault code 14 mention in the data file right before the incident. …
Model Y (VIN: [redacted]). On [redacted], I brought my vehicle to Tesla Service for replacement of the front wheel hub assembly and paid approximately $1,000 for the repair. Shortly after picking up the vehicle, I noticed abnormal knocking and clicking noises while turning the steering wheel. Because I was concerned about the safety of the vehicle, I sought a second opinion from an independent repair facility. On [redacted], the independent shop inspected the vehicle and found that two wheel hub mounting bolts had not been properly tightened and that one mounting bolt was completely missing. The repair invoice states that the vehicle was being operated in an unsafe condition and that continued operation could have resulted in wheel hub failure and a serious accident. The shop corrected the condition by replacing the missing bolt and properly tightening the wheel hub assembly. …
While driving, the vehicle displays a critical "Air pressure in tires very low - pull over safely" alert. When I pull over and inspect, the tire pressure is normal and there is no flat. The alert clears on its own after driving a few more miles. The vehicle has been serviced four times for this issue between February and May 2026 at Tesla service centers in Austin TX, Flower Mound TX, San Diego CA, and Los Angeles CA. The tire pressure monitoring sensors have been replaced three times (rear left twice, front left once). On the May 7, 2026 San Diego service visit, the technician documented the root cause as a low voltage issue with the sensor system. The issue continues to recur after each repair. A false critical safety alert that instructs the driver to pull over creates a safety risk because it trains drivers to distrust real alerts, and pulling over on highways carries its own risk.
